  1. Can you feel, smell and hear your brain? Don't worry mate, you haven't upset me. As for smashing my hopes lol- my faith in God isn't based on just hope that he exists. Trust me- it would be easier for me to be an atheist People get this impression that its just hope- that we're hoping GOd exists and we'll all go to heaven etc. There is a lot of research to be done if that is what you believe. Tony I just wanted to make it clear that being intelligent and believing in God is not a contradiction. We can all agree Einstein was intelligent can't we? Albert Einstein, "Science, Philosophy and Religion: a Symposium", 1941 US (German-born) physicist (1879 - 1955):
  2. Its also possible to employ logic. Is it impossible to disprove faith? Has faith already been disproved? Wouldn't it be easy if a certain faith had a test to prove whether it was true or not? I think a lot of people here need to understand that it isn't ridiculous to believe in a God or scripture. I think its a sad state of affairs to dismiss faith as fairy tales if one hasn't even bothered to research it. I also feel that the majority of atheists are so not because of they have concluded that there is no God because of any real objective thinking, researching and critiquing but because it suits their lifestyle. Afterall, who wants a supreme authority judging and dictating what we feel is right or wrong? We can do whatever we want right? Its similar to how many people believe in religion/ God because it gives them a sense of comfort. However, that isn't the prime reason why EVERYONE believes in faith. Believe it or not, many people have done the aforementioned research and objectively have come to the conclusion that there must be a God. It isn't all fairy tales and gardens when you accept faith. A whole new level of self-critique and responsibility arises when one takes into account God-consciousness.
  3. The truth is also a strong thing. Lets come to some common ground as to what we both believe is true. The shape of the planet? Do you believe in the water cycle? The embryological cycle? Had you not read up on them would you still believe in them? Have you even read about them?
  4. This quote already shows your attitude. You've already come to the conclusion that these books are books of lies before even reading the book? Surely by the mere fact that I mentioned all those scientific implications mentioned 1400 years ago in a scripture revealed in the Arabic desert you would have been compelled to find out more about it, or even read it so you could proceed to disprove it? Its ironic isn't it that you disbelief in God is so strong its almost a religious conviction as many people state our conviction is. A religious atheist so to speak. Whilst you may claim that these books are lies, at least the people of faith are commanded to actively seek knowledge (taq'wah being the qur'anic word used).
  5. You find this incredible? Have you made any real respectable attempt at reading any scripture or even researching any faith before coming to this conclusion? I find it incredible that so-called intelligent people dismiss religion as fairy tales yet have done NOTHING in the way of any real learning to come to such a conclusion. You may also find it incredible that an illiterate man in the desert 1400 years ago somehow knew that the planet is round, that the universe is expanding, that the soon moon and earth each rotate and revolve around their own axis, understood the water cycle , knew about geology and understood embryology. You might find this incredible had you even known all this was mentioned. But no- you'll most likely adopt a conflict approach to dismiss this as plagiarism whilst simultaneously being oblivious to the theory of probability and all logic. The latter term- there's a surprising amount of adoption of it when encountering some religious texts. I find it incredible that, as Marbleapple said, so-called intelligent people dismiss the existence of God citing that the latter cannot be proved whilst at the same time, are unable to disprove gis existence.

  9. Yeah Chingy- your Supra is indeed legendary! Very nice. I'm not a fan of that Espirit Supra at all though, The headlights and front splitter kill the lines of the car methinks.
  10. Salam Salih! Wow that is one of the nicest looking subtle modded Supras I have seen. That is how you pull off a OEM+ Supra!
  11. Hehe nothing wrong with those! I have one lol.
  12. No way haha! Congrats!! Those are, by far, the coolest wedding pics ever!!! Marc p- you travelled all those miles in your Supe??! This thread is legendary imo
  13. Ouch!! The car looked amazing though. But yeah, surely blending the front catalysed the damage done to the bumper?
  14. This is wrong. I have owned a 360 since launch and NEVER has an update of a game taken more than 10 seconds. If an xbox 360 game update takes as long as your standard PS3 game, then clearly someone's trying to get on Xbox Live from Somalia. To get Super Street FIghter Turbo HD remix on the 360 took Just yesterday I was playing RE5 with my cousin and the update took 15 mins. The PS3 is completely inferior to the 360 in terms of online play in almost every respect: downloads, ease of use, the User Interface and the whole online community. The PS3, imo, is a great console for Single player games (Uncharted, MGS, GOW etc) and as an entertainment device (Blu-ray, BBC I-player etc) but when it comes to online gaming it still lags behind by a considerable margin. I can mention many instances where the PS3 has annoyed me online. The 360 isn't without its problems though (understatement- RROD anyone?)
  15. lol that is harsh. Excellent laugh in the vid I love the way the guy's face is so serious when he lifted the bag haha. How did that guy cut the bag so quickly?!
  16. WHen Barryboys dip into Supercars. Looks like a kit car. The Dots Hanzo rims are a giveaway I think.
