  1. The wiring lol. The bit everyone hates. I had planned out in my head what way i wanted to do this before i started. Basically i cut the 2 main plugs from the supra fusebox and extended them to meet whatever wires in the aristo loom that required that type of power i.e. switched ignition, constant etc The two plugs, orange and grey, are the dash plugs from the supra. I cut them off the 2jzge loom and extended them all to the aristo ecu box and they joined into whatever plug on the ecu was matching. These wires are for the clocks, fuel pump, brake light switch etc. I spent a good bit of time properly heat shrink soldering them together and making sure i had no wires left over from the supra loom. The result was a plug and play loom that the car started first time with the first turn of the key.^ I also had to, Buy a toyota oem temp sensor for the front top coolant elbow for the temp gauge in the dash, Cut the oem 2jzge loom from the gearbox and wire in reverse lights and speed sensor to the clocks through the 2 dash plugs. As its an auto ecu, leave it permenantly in "D" so it will run right. Some photos of the wiring Supra dash plugs, some wires are for automatic cars and cruise control so they will not be needed. Supra fuse box plugs, these wires provide power to the car loom. Finished loom Neat joiners on them And like i said, she started first time with no issues. Rev counter modification. This allows the N/A clocks to display the correct rpm for the TT engine.
  2. So I began the process of putting it all back together. Mounting the ecu box Little bracket to join it to the body of the car.
  3. Modifying the 2JZGE rear sump for oil return. Then fitted sump and supra engine mounts Supra oil return piping fitted Clutch time. - - - Updated - - - Blank post for updates
  4. New droplinks as the old ones looked a bit tired.
  5. It came out fairly easy. I mounted it to the other stand and began stripping it. Stripping sumps off.
  6. I reassemebled the casings and began to strip the 2jzge out.
  7. Induction kit arrived from CX racing in the US as it was the only one i could find that had a holder for the AFM.
  8. Went and bought TRD Shocks and springs as my ksports were knocking at the back.
  9. Began to strip the engine down and replace timing belt kit, water pump, breather pipes and other times. The crank pulley bolt involved a lot of effort to get off! Lol New genuine water pump and seals Competition stage 2 clutch kit Engine prep Whifbitz intake pipes fitted Timing belt and waterpump fitted
  10. So I taught I'd update this thread as I have the conversion completed. Fitting the FMIC ^ I went for that particular size piping and intercooler so i could still fit my oem undertray and other plastics. I dont intend to ever go past 500bhp with this car. New rubber arrived 235/40/18 front and 265/35/18 rear Aristo ecu box so i have the oem ecu plugs and a place to mount the ecu. I opted to kerrp the ecu in the engine bay.
  11. I did my 2jzgte vvti aristo swap slightly differently. Because they are voltage sensitive, i decided to get an aristo ecu box and mount the ecu in the engine bay and i cut the plugs off the n/a supra loom and extended them into the engine bay as there was maybe 9 or 10 wires needed. I did the same thing with the plugs under the fusebox and the car runs like a dream and the ecu box sits nicely in the bay and looks oem.
  12. Its a 94! I can't remember for the life of me were the 2nd cat is. I moved house twice since.
  13. Lads, I have a mid decat pipe in my car the past 10 years with no issues passing emissions as the car was N/A and still retained the cat in the manifold but i did a TT vvti conversion 6 months ago and had to use a decat pipe. Ive my NCT (Irish MOT) due in 3 months and i want to get the car tested but ive no cat in it. Ive tried searching online to find a used one and they are all either in the states or a spurious brand thats for an N/A. I had considered welding a cat in too but wasn't sure on a brand. Any suggestions? Thanks!
  14. I was trying to get one for ages after doing my gte vvti conversion. I ended up buying a cx racing induction kit as I had no choice. A factory vvti TT airbox is like hens teeth and an aristo one didnt fit.
  15. I taught id share some photos and the experience I had with the A90 Supra. A friend of mine works for Toyota Ireland and asked could he use my car for two different dates to put with the A90. Toyota Ireland secured an A90 edition and it was used for all the shows/events. It was first at japfest in mondello park but the next time was a media day in mondello which I had the chance to drive the A90 with both my own car and the Lc500h. This was a really interesting experience. As my car is running stock boost, it was a good gauge of were the A90 is to the A80. Anyway, heres the photos My car with the red A90 I had some interior photos too but they weren't that good lol. Then the A90 edition and the Lc500h Track time in both cars, unfortunetly they wouldnt turn the traction control off in the A90 but mine being what it was, it didn't have it I also got an onboard video of the few laps I had in the A90. First time driving it. Regards the A90, I have to say, i really like it. It handles really really well and it was very easy get comfortable in. I found was that you sit in very deep into the cabin and the steering was a tad heavy(then again the mk4 steering was too light lol) but not in a bad way. Also the engine doesn't like to rev past 6k rpm but that didn't matter because the car would cover ground at a very good rate without reving it out. It feels like a car you could drive across europe in very comfortably. I think the only major drawback it will have over here is that the base model is €81k which is just too much. Otherwise, a lovely car.
  16. As above, has anyone got a set they would be willing to part with? I don't need tyres. Preferably a decent set. Thanks
  17. It be fair, the c8 corvette looks like a child designed it. A matchbox car.
