Had the worst weekend ever, someone keyed my car outside work yesterday and then I came home to find my dog after having a stroke and brought her to the vet unfortunetlyto get her put down last night after nearly 17 years of owning her Dying with a dose now too

I'm not having a go at you gav, I'm just sticking up for Nigel like at the end of the day I'm not going off topic anymore but he did only reply to the thread and give his opinion and you did basically say it was stupid and to go with the other way. It just pissed him off, ok he shouldnt of reacted as he did but its not fair to dismisses someone like that especially when they have said to me on a numerous amount of times that he feels he's just ignored on this site. Theres a difference between having an opinion on something and making a fool of someone. Thats the difference. I'm not getting into an arguement with the rest of you, but nigel gave his advice in the first post and nothing more and he was basically just talked down to basically made out to be an idiot on an open forum. Have to say just seen this thread and im absolutely discusted at the attitude of members towards nigel, Completely unesscary to go on like this. Over tyres? everyone is entitled to their opinion lads. In his defence, Nigel told me to try drain my oil an leave it sit for 4 hours with the bung out. I said to myself ok it'll probaly loose another 0.2 of a litre at most because I didn't believe him but yes It lost over half a litre and YES I got 5.5 litres into my N/A. So surely another 0.5 litres would be used if the car has oil lines etc to feed for turbos. His car boosts at 1.4 bar on a uk car NOT ceramic japo turbos and is very quick. He was side by side with another one of the lads off the site with a jap TT in his lightly modded (catback and induction kit) on a private stretch of road and I was behind them and they both went for it and nigel left the other car like it was sitting. So I think the Nigel bashing has to end. You might not agree with his opinion but theres no reason to go on like this.

OK, I don't want any smart answers about "oh you shouldnt get one because its bad for your car etc etc" "why bother its an N/A etc etc" But I'm having a problem and i'm looking for some genuine help here. Basically I fitted a Bee*r rev limiter I got off a mate of mine to my 94 Sz manual, I researched around and found a few threads and one was Marty's wiring diagram and I crossreferenced it off another 2jzge Diagram I got and Its all wired up correctly, well from what I can see, Problem is when I set it at the minium rev level it won't rev anything more than 1500rpm and then when I set it to max (or even middle) it won't exceed 2500rpm which is kinda strange as its supposed to go right up to 9000rpm if possible. I've messed around with it and still no joy, Maybe I taught because my car is using a distributor instead of coilpacks that it needs to have a different kinda of crankshaft sensor wire to be wired to or maybe perhaps off the distributor? I'm kinda confused Any help would be greatly appreciated

Me and stealth are going to travel from ireland for this, obviously my car would be eliglible as its a supra, but even though his car is a 1jz soarer would he still be able to go on the stand as he's a paid member like myself? Put me down for one stand place and one ticket, if stealth is allowed to on the stand, put him down for one also along with 2 tickets for his two passengers and let us know how much etc

Well as the thread says above, I'm getting a 1jzgte fitted to my car next month before the trackday. My problem is which one to go for. I'm going to have a reputable garage do the work for me as due to a health condition I can't do it anymore myself. Either jzx90 - twin turbo non vvti OR jzx100 - single turbo vvti Tbh the single turbo engine appeals to me alot more, its got more torque than the other engine and it gets it at lower rpm too. Plus its a newer engine etc. I plan to have at most 400bhp next year out of either one. Problem is.... which one to go for? The vvti engine is 400 euro more. The prices I've been given include everything to do the conversion. Just looking for some imput on my decision. Regardless whats happening I'll be getting one of them Cheers
