  1. He still didn't contact you? Sorry to hear that. He told me, he would . If I see him on the german forum, I'll tell him again.
  2. Hi Chris, since they use km/h in japan, we could just drive the cars here without changing it. But this would limit the speedometer to 180 km/h - and on german autobahn, that's just too less . We use a speedoconverter to miles, so it runs to 180 mph and change the 180 km/h face to a stock 300-and-something face. The scaling for 180 mph and 3xx km/h matches, what makes it possible to use a mile-converter.
  3. Seems like everybody is forgetting to lift the needle over the little pin and let it sit for a while to release the 'spring'. Then mark the position, where the needle stoped moving. Take it out... and when you put it back in, just place it in the position, you marked befor. Double-check with GPS. @Chris Wilson: We in germany need to do this, b/c we need a KM/H speedo. 180 km/h is way to less in germany. And a m/h speedo is not allowed.
  4. I found your old supra! It's in Germany now! The Wing had to go - not street legal. Got a TRD now.
  5. Hi folks, I already had 4 years of membership on here. I thought after 3 years, you'd get a lifetime membership. Who do I need to talk to about the membership?
  6. Best comment I ever had: I came around the corner with my red TT and I see a red Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder in very good nic with open roof waiting on a red light. The driver and passanger imidiatly turned around, when they saw the supra in the mirror stopping behind them - two fine looking blond girls my age. When the light turned green they drove off, both forming a heart with their hand over their heads. At the next light I stopped next to them and we had a little chat. They said, it was their favorite car... And you won't believe, what happend next... I drove home, where my girl was waiting for me...
  7. I'm triing to get one of those, but there need to be 15 orders on it. Maybe (or hopefully) some you want one... http://teespring.com/Supra
  8. A friend of me got the eBay exhaust. Good quality, the weldings look good and it sound nice. Just buy it, you'll be satisfied.
  9. Thanks, was a straight swap. Sold my old ones for the same price I payed for these.
  10. Changed my wheels. New ones need a little bit of polish but I like them...
  11. Owner is on the german forum. He never claimed, it was his work - so far - but I did'nt read the article. Car looks great!
  12. Usually H&R delivers extended studs. Just check the part no on their website for the spacers you need- they got the supra listet. No problems with H&R. They got TÜV certificates for all their products.
  13. Short question: Friend of me is getting the parts for a conversion together. He got a EU-Spec LHD TT AT. So he schould have a B04D diff. A guy from germany offerd us a B03D diff from a EU-Spec TT6 - BUT he only got the diff, not the case. So now the question: Does the B03D fit in the B04D case?
  14. I don't think it's chrome. Usually it's polished alloy with a clear coat on it. That's brake dust, that destoyed the clearcoat. You can sand it down. Could start with 100, then 180, 240, 600, 1000, 2000 then polish it. A lot of work. Just startet on my ASA AR1.
  15. Did you see my PMs about the brakes?
  16. FMIC makes sense, if your stock SMIC is through and you don't want another SMIC. Mine almost fell apart just from touching it. But I noticed turbo #1 kicked in about 100 rpm later, due to the bigger FMIC it had to fill with air. Take the one Brazil offered you. Great price! If I would't have one, I'd snap it off of him.
  17. The tow hook (red) - or the one on the other side- can't remember and the fan (blue) had to be removed with the AB88 kit. The water reservoir had to be changed to a smaller one and the a/c lines (yellow) in front of the fan had do be bent back, so they are, where the fan was befor. Just undo the screws in the yellow marked areas a little bit - not all the way (!) and bend them back slowly and carefully. @ franki: Sorry for abusing your pic
  18. Yep, bumper needs to come off. Actually it's the lights, bumper, partially the undertray - propabley need modding after you installed the FMIC, water reservoir, one tow hook, air con pipes need to be bent back, the fan, that sits right behind the bumper - if you got it. If I forgot something, I'm sorry Took me and a friend 4 hours to take everything apart and fit the FMIC. And took me 6 hours (!) to get everythong back together - but I was alone and had to take the bumper on and off like 100 times, b/c I wanted the keep the plastic undertray in the frontbumper and had to make it fit over the fmic. And it took me forever to do the two screws where the bumper and the fender meet since the bolts on the bar broke off and I used normal screws. Otherwise, this should be a 2 hour job. So altogether you'll be looking at a 6 hour job. By the way: I got a autobahn88 FMIC kit.
  19. Don't you have US military bases in UK? We do in germany. If you know somebody, who lives there, they can order the wheels for you. They don't pay the import taxes and duties, b/c the military base is part of the US. Works in germany.
  20. I bought mine for 230 € in ok condition. Just some leather wear on the side, where you gt in and out, which could be fixed. Converted the driver seat to manual and sold them on for 350 €, after a very nice american guy gave me his facelift US-seats for free in brandnew condition. Now, both of my seats are electrical. Love it. Just wait for some to come up and be prepared to pay around 300. You can also sell your clothes seats after you got your leathers. I sold my old clothes seats for 150 €. But that's german prices. Way less worth in the UK, I guess.

    importing

You should ask this question at supraforums.com, since that's the US-forums. Most people here are from the UK.
