  1. Probably it's usefull for the forum and the mod's want to make it a sticky. http://code.beardfu.com/wheel-offset-calculator/
  2. Here's a great calculator. Hope this helps... http://code.beardfu.com/wheel-offset-calculator/
  3. That's to heat up the engine faster. That's normal and almost everycar got it.
  4. Not using mine in the winter. It's off the road from November till March. During the winter I use my ZX6R Ninja - need to get another car next year, since my wife took my daily driver as her daily driver... pirate
  5. Yeah that. Check, if all the hoses are connected right and that there are no air leaks. Had the similar issue on mine. Problem was, the hose from the pressure tank came off, after installing an EBC and running one hose down there.
  6. As far as I know, it's not in germany. Nothing was posted on the german forum about that car the last years. I had the same kit on my NA, that I sold. But mine was black. Are you planning on buiing it back?
  7. Althought nobody answered, I'd like to give the answer to my own question, in case somebody ist doing a search and reads this thread. The upper one is the inlet and the lower one is the outlet. Maybe it helps somebody one day.
  8. When I put my hand down behind the intake manifold, there are two air hoses connected right above of each other. I asume that's the pressure tank, sitting unter the intak manifold, right? Can someone tell me, which of these two connectors the outlet of the pressure tank is?
  9. I read a thread about a Dodge Viper with the turbos fitted the same way. The owner said, the lack was incredible high.
  10. I got a fiberglass one from a member of the german forum. Think he got it from ebay UK or CH. Perfect fit. They even had little spots, where the holes needes to be drilled and these hole lined up PERFECT with the stock front bumper, although I didn't trust them a did my own marks. Here are the pics - those matts in the ears are there to prevent scratching on the bumpers paint, if I want to take those ears off one day. But right now I like them:
  11. Two ways to do it: 1. Pull it as hard as you can and put the screws in - that's how I did it on mine or 2. Cut the part, where the FMIC is in the way, and put it back in with fibreglass arround it on the inside - that's how a friend did it on his.
  12. Funny, just after I wrote this, I saw one on my way to have dinner with some friend.
  13. We ain't got a lot of supras here in germany so I only see one on the road like once a year. This year I saw only one from Netherlands going through a lot of trafic and I rushed to get next to him in mine, just to say "hi"
  14. Had that on my sold NA AT and now got it with the TT AT. Only under heavy braking, when a light turn red and you're just too fast to brake moderate. Just when the car stops it stalls.
  15. Did you check supraforums.com already. There may be some people, who could help or got infos abouit it. As far as I know, there are some RHDs in th US.
  16. Nooooooooooooooooooo decals. I love the look of your car so much! It's one of the best looking supras I've seen so far. It's perfect as it is.
  17. I took the pics at the porsche museum in Stuttgart Zuffenhausen. I live about 500 m from there. Great spot to take pics. And I love the stainless steel roof, that looks like water. The museum is next to their production facaility, so you always see a lot of porsches driving around near my house. Everytime I drive home in the supe, I pass by there, just to see, if a porsche wants to race, since the autobahn is right there. I'm having so much fun there! First you see them , the you race them, and show them, how fast these old toyotas are and then they don't wanna race with you again
  18. If you need someone to pick up his supe at your facility, I'm your man.
  19. AC takes hp - that's clear. But if you don't want to get rid of the AC system and you're using the AC anyways, I think it's worth a try, to use the cold air.
  20. Downloading right now, although I got the whole repair manual on my phone anyway. Still thanks! I'll let the german forum know, so the guys there can download it, too.
  21. I went to junkyard and got a smaller expansion bottle off an old Peugeot 106, that fits on top of the fmic. This weekend I saw a supe with cutomized IC-Piping so the fmic sits more in the front. He still had the stock bottle on top of it and still had the fan between the fmic and the radiator.
  22. They only need a copy to get the insurance done. Usually you don't buy an insurance for a car, that's not yours. But in this case the insurance is cheaper than fliing to UK twice. The insurance company wants the original, b/c they suggest, you would fly to the UK buy the car incl. the V5, fly back to germany, get the insurance done and then get the car from the UK to Germany. But since it's cheaper for the buyer to fly there once, they accept the copy. I did it the same way. The seller (username fripon on the forum) sent me a copy of the V5, I got the insurance, took a flight to UK and drove the car back.
