  1. A CF hood will look out of place on a car with flip paint. And if you paint the CF hood, it won't look good without A LOT of work to it, because the CF hood's surfaces are not even. You can't really tell, when they're not painted, but as soon as they are painted, you see the wavey surface. Stone chips are no problem, when we painted my car we put on new clearcoat to my CF bonnet. If you got scratches, you can sand the clearcoat down and put new one on. If you don't use hoodpins, the bonnet will lift and move while driving fast. Looks really scary. TBH don't do flip paint!!! If you want a bodykit, do it, but go with a nice one tone color. If you want CF parts you can get them and they will look good with any one tone color.
  2. Ok guys, the car is running again! Got an ignition coil from a member on here. Changed it and it fired up without an issue! So happy!
  3. PM'd about the ignition coil. I only need your details, so I can transfer the money. I sent you my address. Cheers Thomas
  4. Every catback fits TT and NA. BTW - I got his old Mins's Silence VX Catback. Very nice seller!!!
  5. Can somebody tell me the partno of the NA ignition coil. toyodiy.com say 90919-02197, but I'm not sure. I think there is a sticker on it with the no.
  6. Seems to be the Ignition Coil or the Dissy. I'll try another Ignition Coil first - should be cheaper and less work then the dissy. I'll try to find somebody in Germany, who let me try his igntion coil. If I can't find somenody - see here: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?p=2886083#post2886083
  7. No, I don't have anything to suck the fuel out. I'll hook my other car up tomorrow. The steps for tomorrow are, going from the sparkplug backards. First I'll check the igniter coil. The I'll trace the cables to the last point, I got power. Hopefully I'll find it.
  8. I think you got me wrong. At the first try, I had my other car connected. I even did that yesterday. I defo didn't do it wrong. But I'll check the 120A fuse tomorrow.
  9. Ok folks, I tried a couple of thing: 1. Checked all fuses in the enginebay (optical) - ok 2. Checked Starter-Relais - ok I switched it around with the Fog-Light-Relais, which is the same circuit. Fog-Lights worked with the startert-Relais, but car still wouldn't start on the Fog-Light-Relais. 3. Took a sparkplug out and grounded it to the battery - no spark. When I tried to start, I had the battery connected to my other car, which was running. The Supra's battery was a little low. I smelled the fuel in the engine, so I guess the fuelpump works. I can hear it running also. 4. Checked all fuses it the car next to the gaspedal - ok Tried to start again - now eithout my other car connected to the battery. The result is strange. The car wouldn't even turn. Not even a ticking noise. Even the clock and all dashlights are going out. Could my battery be dead? What steps should I do next?
  10. Ok I'll try that after I checked all fuses.
  11. I was cleaning the enginebay last weekend but I was driving after that. And I only used a spounge with hardly water on it. Everything was ok. So "no" to water. Can I take out a sparkplug and try starting the car to see if I got a spark? Ot how else can I check for spark?
  12. I was out driving three days ago and when I came home the supra was fine. Yesterday I wanted to drive but it won't start. It turns fine but won't fire up. Battery is ok. Tomorrow I'll check all fuses. I can smell fuel, when it turns, so I guess it's not the fuelpump. I think, I already got wet sparkplugs - but I'll check that on Saturday. Can I take out a sparkplug and try starting the car to see if I got a spark? Any idea what could cause the problem or what steps I'll have to go through? Thomas
  13. If your car is in good condition - technically and optically, then why sell it? You don't know the other car and don't know what problems will occure after purchase. So keep it and save money for a TT

  15. Ah, that's the UGLY-Style bumper.... designed by NoTaste-Performance
  16. Here's mine: http://www4.pic-upload.de/09.08.10/kkxrodrt77c2.jpg http://www4.pic-upload.de/09.08.10/3udkmhatr9d.jpg http://www4.pic-upload.de/09.08.10/qsuiapdc398s.jpg http://www4.pic-upload.de/09.08.10/8xey3o9lrq38.jpg http://www4.pic-upload.de/09.08.10/ybgub21foi.jpg http://www4.pic-upload.de/09.08.10/fstxc41hopo.jpg http://www3.pic-upload.de/12.08.10/m9kfd3lsa5ck.jpg
  17. I lost the powerbutton of my Blitz PowerMeterSJ. Blitz-uk told me, I can't get them separate. Does anybody know where I can get one from or does anybody have one left for me? http://www3.pic-upload.de/19.07.10/7py6lxt4llsl.jpg
  18. I gave up triing it without removing the wishbone after two hours. But you seem to be a special case if you still try to work your way around. You'll be pissed, when you see how easy and fast it is with the wishbone removed. BELIEVE ME. Been there done that... It's done in 10 mins... Little hint: I did it myself without bouncing on the hub. I put a jack between the hub and the inner arch. That makes it very easy and comfortable.
  19. Just take the upper wishbone out. It's only a 10 min job. I tried to change my shocks without taking the wishbone out for 2 hours - I endet up taking it out in 10 mins.
  20. Powerflex is good stuff. I got them on my daily driver
  21. I got a fibreglass bumper and I ALWAYS take care how I drive. But you're right, sometimes it's impossible to drive into garages or out of gasstations. But so far nothing happend to the bumper. I never hit anything - thanks to my carful driving.
  22. I got H&R-Springs on mine. I think they lower by 30mm. The car works way better now. I got to admit, it's not that comfortable anymore on crapy roads. But it's still worth it!
