  1. Not a scam. I've just bought my supe from UK and drove it to germany in March '13. They need a the V5 to get an international insurance. BUT usually a good copy of it, on which you can read everything, is also fine. The insurance company (they do it over the ADAC) wants to see the original V5. But I told them, the owner won't hand it over until the car is sold, so the copy was fine for them. Just tell the buyer, you'll E-Mail him a copy of the V5.
  2. Ups. Didn't notice it. I'll change them this afternoon.
  3. Got the facelift rear light today from Naill (forum member) today. Couldn't wait, so here are the pics out in the rain
  4. You're right. It's a little bit too low at the rear. I'll higher it a bit, as soon I feel like it. The ground clearance is too bad with the exhaust.
  5. Did 100 miles today, to pick up some leather seats. Cleaned them and put leather balm on them. That's why they're so shiny right now - but will go away. Here they are in my supe
  6. Little update: Took some pics: Finally put the facelift indicators in: And refreshed the plastictrims:
  7. Not a lot space to work but oh well Bilstein out - H&R in Befor: Front ready: Rear ready - but had to higher the front 5 mm:
  8. On Page 1 on the bottom right side it says RWTÜV German TÜV ist terrible, but no problem the the H&R papers.
  9. You can download the H&R TÜV approval from they homepage. Just navigate to Product -> TRACK + wheel spaces -> Select the Toyota Supra http://www.h-r.com/gb/f_produktsuche.php
  10. First time i've seen that. My bonnet is over 5 years old and my TRD cf wing is almost 5 years old and they look fine. As the others said: Flat all the lacquer off. If you want to get it painted, I think it's a lot of work, because the bonnet is not even enough to be just painted.

  12. Did you just lower it so much, so you won't have to lift up the frontbumper to mount it?
  13. Go stock. I had a JDL-Kitted Supra and now I got a full stock one, put my TRD spoiler and CF-Bonnet on it. Done. Looks so clean and more grown.
  14. I need - new headlights - an e-marked racing-cat, because it's a straight through wifbitz on it, that I'd like to keep in place force the stock cat - dyno-run since I don't put down stock power - full TÜV So all that will be arround 1900 €. Insurance I don't know yet. Yeah. It drives VERY different from the NA. Love it. I've been on the club for over two years already, but still thanks for the 'welcome'
  15. Got my first supra back in 2008 and crashed it on the way home from the purchase. It was a NA. Well, after A LOT of work this came out: I put it up for sale like 4 weeks ago and last week the first potential buyer was looking at it an was testdriving. So last wednesday he picked her up and she was driving away. Honestly I wasn't even gutted. Why? Because the day befor I booked my flight to London to look at a TT Supra there. On Friday my plane went form Stuttgart, Germany to London Heathrow. I met Patrick (UK-Seller here on the forum) at the airport and we drove to his home. And there she was: Red, completely stock bodywork, looked liked brand new from the inside, the trunk looked like it has never been opened befor, paint was in very good condition, as far I've seen no rust under the car. So me and Patrick took a testdrive and I was very satisfied. So we did all the paperwork and me and my stepfather left Patrick at 15:00. It took us just about two hours to get to Dover where we took the ferry to Calais in France. We reached Calais at 21:00 and went through France, Belgium and Netherlands until we reached germany all the way down where Köln is. So far we did about 400 miles. From Köln to Stuttgart where I live it was still 250 miles. The only breaks we took, were gasstops. So we reached my house on saturaday morning at 5:00. The Supra did very well over these 650 miles. No problems at all. There she is in germany in front of my garage: Now I got to get all the things done for TÜV (german MOT) Over the weekend I put my Seibon TS Style bonnet and my TRD full carbon spoiler on her. Next is a autobahn88 FMIC kit with piping, which I ordered yesterday. I'm also looking to get a carbon front lip, some coilovers to lower her and I'll have the wheels painted black. That's it. The car is in such a good condition, that I will not change anything that can't be undone. Expect of the carbon parts, the body will be left stock and red. Well, thanks Patrick for selling me this great car! I'll keep pictures coming. Thanks for reading.
  16. I had the NS2 on my Mazda. I would never put them on the supra. On dry roads they're fine but on wet roads they're terrible. They just loose grip so easy. Now I got Falkens on my Mazda and they are way better on wet roads.
  17. In Germany it has always been like this - EVERY mod you do to your car has to been TÜV (german MOT) approved. Usually you need a TÜV certificate for the specific part. If you don't have one, you can still get it approved by TÜV, but most of them don't do it. Cou'd have to find one somewhere in Germany, who does it. Sometimes we drive hundrets of miles, just to get our mod approved. Usually these guys take A LOT of money and it's still not legal, but at least you got some type of approval. Then you just hope, that the cops won't notivce it. Since there aren't a lot of supras in Germany, manufacturers don't get their parts TÜV approved, so we got to go through a lot of hazzle to get our mods approved here. I hope, they won't bvring it to UK. Would make parts and mods way more expensive.
  18. If you keep the skirts , I'd say Do-Luck. The bottom part would be picked up by the skirts.
  19. First time i've seen it. Great and INSANE!!!
  20. I don't have ABS. But I'd like to upgrade to goodridge braided lines. I just can't find different part no for ABS or no ABS. Can somebody help?
  21. I need new brakelines for the front. Are the TT's and NA's the same lines?
  22. When air gets compressed, it's getting hot.r engine is getting hot air right now. I'd be careful. The intercooler is there to cool the comptessed air down. Did you think of getting a sidemount IC like the turbo stock one. Might help to keep the pipes short
  23. Turbo inlet won't fit your na. And why did you get your NA in the first place, if you want to turbo it now? Grt a stock airbox and call it the day
