  1. Im not trying to do dave out of work. To be honest mate if your not sure/not confident to do this yourself, someone like dave (supraloopy) is the way forward. A proper professional job, cant go wrong:D
  2. Looks like it from the pic, if you look carefully the dials stand proud, but the pic cuts short before the 3 little rings come into view. Also i noticed the SNOW light was on which is on my facelift and wasn't on my prefacelift. Also you can see the panels are really smooth whereas the rubber coated ones you can see the difference Ow yeah also the facelift clock!!
  3. Just to let people know that the facelift dash panels don't have that crappy rubber coating on, which makes this process a hell of a lot easier
  4. I have a stock jspec tt airbox and piping if your interested in buying it mate
  5. Did you end up bending the arm back? How did you fix it?
  6. Right, I fitted an uprated fuel pump and now have noticed that the fuel gauge doesn't go below 1/4 tank, even when the fuel light comes on. So Im guessing i have probably bent the arm of the sensor (the one that acts as a type of float valve) as i was taking out or putting back into the tank. SSOOOOOOO i was wandering if anyone had a picture of the above mentioned float valve(sensor arm) in its natural position so I can bend it back to its right position Thanks everyone:D:D:D:D:D:D
  7. Your better of going to specialist insurers than concentrate in performance cars and young drivers. Also a quote over the phone usually results in a better premium, such as Adrian Flux.
  8. Regarding comment by jamesmark: I have to disagree there about the insurance. Non turbo (sz) is generally a fair bit cheaper to insure than the twin turbo (RZ and GZ) models. So given this definantly the SZ model is the one for you mate, both insurance costs, it also enanble you to break yourself gently into fast rwd cars.
  9. Alright there mate IMO - IN MY OPINION, NCB- NO CLAIMS BONUS I was 24 when i got my first supra, it was a red n/a and insurance was £700 with 3 years no claims bonus. I had an accident and wrote the car off. But decided to import my own car which is the one I have now the supra TT facelift model. Im now 28 and with 4 years NCD my insurance is £651 but that is with all modifications declared. (there is quite a few) Hang in there mate, there worth waiting for. Importantly build up ur NCD Im sure if you went to a meet local to yourself i would image someone would be more than willing to show u round there car and take you for a spin.
  10. I definantly have the window switches and the handle your on about but I don't have the surround that slides over it. Switches and handle - £18 delivered
  11. Well I need the drivers side so if b16gtf wanted to go halfs on this, I could be interested
  12. I always thought a circle is a stronger shape?
  13. I think i should have the drivers side block of electric window switches. Also have the plastic bit that surrounds the switches. Let me know if ur interested EDIT: Also i have the part of the door card you use to pull the door shut so i don't know if thats what you mean by door handle. Also I do have the part you actually pull to open the door (from the inside) the lever with the locking mechanism connected to it
  14. Welcome mate. I will say, i may be wrong but I thought the RZ-S model was only made for the facelift models, whereas RZ was prefacelift. I may be wrong but would be interested to find out. Tidy looking stock car tho bud
  15. Yeah those blades look a tad bit crooked
  16. You sure your cutting blade is still there LOL Edit: justgav beat me to it
  17. Its does cover up the defects well. But to be honest i really don't like that much anyway and I don't understand that boot lid, looks like am MR2!!!!!!!!! But cheers for the heads up anyway. Looks like you had a "great escape" there tho mate. Just hope no-one does end up getting stitched up with this motor.
