  1. When I was BPU on euro-spec turbos (non-VVTi, V160, euro-spec 550 injectors), my low boost setting was 1.2, high boost 1.4
  2. To give you an idea on the crazy thing about ethanol : JamieP's GTR did : 798 at the hubs on VPower 955 at the hubs on 50% ethanol !!!!!!!!!!
  3. 760 at the hubs on pump gas @ 1.7 bar 840 at the hubs on 50 ethanol @ 1.95 bar. We would have made bigger numbers, but the turbo didn't want to : it was maxed out. :d We gave it a try @ 2.1 bar, but no single bhp more
  4. Pump gas : 1.7 bar (25 psi) Ethanol : 1.95 bar (28.5 psi) Ryan (2Bartuning) added a lot more ignition timing with the ethanol.
  5. Yeah ... quality looks impressive. Is it a 60 mm turbo?
  6. 285 semi-slick on pump gas will be fine. As soon as you start playing with ethanol, the character of the car changes ... a lot more torque will come, and you will then have traction issues. Mine made 605 tq (at the hubs) on pump gas, and 703 tq (at the hubs) on 50% ethanol. That's a jump from 820nm to 955nm !!!
  7. Yes mate... the turbo pulls very strong. Once the new wheels have arrived (CCW classics with R888 315 at the rear), I will finally have proper traction in 3rd gear. Tbh, the weather has been quite bad those last 2 weeks ... haven't got much chance to use it. As soon as the sky clears up, I will bring up some videos.
  8. Wow. Massive improvement on the active lip.
  9. Sorry for probably having missed it, but what turbo and manifold is that?
  10. I know that some EU countries have more paperwork to do (and more taxes) with j-spec Supras Shane.
  11. You will have the first EGT sensor for cylinder 1-3, the second for cylinder 4-6. If you would happen to have an issue on one of the cylinders, where EGT would raise, you should have 2 sensors. The Syvecs will nevertheless survey all the parameters, and with only 1 EGT sensor, 3 cylinder wouldn't be monitored as they should. Don't forget that you need Syvecs specific sensors (I had to remove my old ones from the Defi gauge and replace by Syvec sensor)
  12. I would run 2 mate. The Syvecs will monitor both.
  13. Simply WOW. I would like to bring my Supra to your's for a full "wellness" treatment
  14. I have only one mate .. and it looks fine. I have to admit that I hardly ever use the silencer ... I only drive the 2bar of boost calibration .. haven't tried pussy mode yet :d
  15. Lee tested mine with the silencer @ 1 bar of boost on my current setup (around 700 at the hubs) on full throttle. There was no problem .. the Syvecs would nevertheless reduce the power when EGT get too high.
  16. You have a Syvecs mate..correct?
  17. 295 street tires will have a hard life with 640+ tq
