  1. I would say £50 I don't know what they go for mind
  2. I have a TT torque converter . A good auto box for £130 is a barging mate
  3. This was only my spare boot that had rust which I sorted so im not in totally stuffed, but have spent a lot of time welding painting and just so gutted to waste all that time but can cut my loses and start it all again on my boot I have on the car now. but I do like the sounds of the weight reduction have seen a molded lexan for £250 https://www.plastics4performance.com/toyota-supra-mk4-lexan-full-window-kit.html
  4. so like a drip I smashed my rear boot glass so looking into options , whats everyones experience with lexan windows , do they scratch ridiculously easy ? what are they like to life with ? can I use acrylic in stead as its the boot ? has anyone made one out of a flat sheet as the supra boot glass is not massively curved ?
  5. Might end up doing a lexan . Still in half minds
  6. So I'm after a rear heated window . I have been doing a wiper delete and had a couple of grinding scuffs on my glasses so sanded them back and was polishing them out and my rear glass exploded . ( I think I let it get too hot ). Anyway don't want to waste the time I have put into the boot so after a the heat glass on its own .? Does anyone know anywhere that does them ? Or even got one one a old rusty boot?. I called my local glass place and they are going to call me back Monday .
  7. im sure chris Wilson does these in his fast road compound
  8. I had a problem with mine that was the heater box , I swapped that out and done
  9. the grey plug in the passenger foot well feed the injectors its the 2 end pins nearest the engine side. did you check the big fuses like the am1
  10. I would start with undoing what ever you did while you was testing , if it was just testing and no changes made revisit the points you tested and check good connections and that all pins are still in plugs correctly. Also check to see if you have power at the ecu. If not then check the wiring diagrams on the home page in the repair manuals
  11. Wow I was only joking , but sure interested now to what has been going on
  12. I heard Jazz couldn't handle the power of this car and sold it and got a auto N/A
  13. Search jdl body kit because that's what it is
  14. Looks like a big single you know the spec
  15. Haha now that's a intro
  16. Going to bump this for good old Herbie It's not just you bud it's anyone lol
  17. Could it be the power sterling speed resistance thingy
  18. if everything bonces back to normal and should for my line of work they guys that are most needed have had to work and the guys that are useless have sat at home for 2 months with 15% less pay. once again the hard working of us gets shafted when we should be the ones having the break for a change .
  19. Just wondering what people thoughts are on this as some of our staff members have been furloughed and some not , now a couple of the guys are like why do we still have to work while the others sit at home with 80% pay . I must admit I wouldn't mind being at home with 80% pay getting my supra back up to spec . It does seem unfair to me being your keeping everything runing for nothing extra while everyone else is sitting at home with there feet up. One guy said it's like going to work for 20% pay . I know that's not quite right but I see where he was coming from .
  20. no they wouldn't have included them parts unless you wanted them , don't get me wrong a lot of tuners are there to relieve you of your money its their business and will up sell when they can. me myself have done a single turbo on the cheap but got a lot of better parts proper hks waste gate precision turbo proper steal gaskets and oil lines and breather setup I did have a xs power manifold until I cracked it and then went with a better ebay job 3mm thick wall manifold. this is where a large saving can be made as its metal pipes for the manifold and down pipe and screamer. the thing is the wastegate could have stuck closed making excessive boost which blew your head gasket . no one could know but it could be the case . im glad you stuck at it and are learning as did I , if you can work on cars and fixing the problems they throw at you then it can be rewarding but can also be a uphill struggle.
  21. Herbie , your problem was you done a cheap N/A-T build . if you had gone the higher end on the right parts you wouldn't of had a lot of your issues . a lot of the ebay turbo kits oil lines , gaskets and junk and the waste gates are hit and miss out of interest what make and spec of turbo is yours ?
  22. ok thanks I have one now , as for the good rack question ie one that was on a car with no problem that's being broken. I see a post Chris say he would rather a second hand vs a refurb , its a risk im willing to take
