I'm sure some of his work is great, however I could barely believe what he'd sent to one customer as a 'refurbished' set - that and the fact it takes weeks/months for a response to a PM is more than enough to put me off. EDIT: Surely being a hobbyist is more than enough for refurbishing lights / modifying like you're talking about?

Maybe! To be honest I was amazed at first then a week or two later I noticed all the little scratches left in there, so I had them machine polished. If you're happy then don't look too closely, you might be dissapointed.

I might have to bring my pre-facelift lights up to you, refurb, facelift style and induction hole...

Take a look at the set Martin refurbished, they came up pretty well! Just polishing without clearcoat doesn't last long at all though, as I've discovered several times. G3 is far too abrasive, I used it and it left a lot of little scratches (though it did look better than before).

Have you got a butt-shot carl0s? Is there a stuck-on fog light on there or is it integrated into the rear lights? Also, any pictures of the interior when cleaned?

That's a nice bit of kit for £5-6k! I would try and find the funds, but I'm not sure jumping from a NA to a Hybrid TT is a good idea...

Peace of mind more than anything, they're going to make the car slower due to the extra unsprung weight.. (you're giving yourself quite a reputation to live up to ).

I did an online quote for an E46 M3 and the cheapest was about £2,000 (with a reasonable excess), pricey motors to insure!
