You'd have to replace the boot struts with another set that have a higher pressure, could probably find a set on ebay.. however, the boot will be a fair bit lighter without the spoiler so you probably won't need to! As for lifting it, just put your fingers under where the toyota badge is and lift it from there?

Does this have cruise control? What does the little red button sticking out of the dash do?

Just changed out the broken wheel stud on the car, going to go for a 'test drive' in the direction of the pub..

I think you're at least one step ahead of me on the stripping front ( ). I've kept the dash, roof lining, doorcards (removed speakers), and centre glovebox for the sprint regs, heater matrix is still in there too (supposed to be very good for removing heat when drifting, so unsure about removing it - how do you defrost your windscreen?). Aircon, ABS(?) and remaining sound proofing are on the list. If I wish to sprint next year I can't do a lot more unless I install a cage. Is your car now going to be drift-only? I've read about the steering rack being changed to that from an LS400 to aid lock (on Soarer's) but I don't want to harm the track handling..

I've only had one go at drifting so far, so no not yet. I've been looking around but not found a lot of information on it.. Might see you at a future DWYB event, hoping to get over for the September one at least.

Someone may have changed the wheels before you got it though Wez, who knows. I highly doubt it'll cause any issues V8, just cosmetic.

I'm not 100% which is which. I've got four sets and some have the fins, some don't - only one set is mixed (which I knew when buying)..

With 'fins' means they're UK spec, and without is jspec. I guess they got mixed with another set somewhere along the line.

Have you asked Keron / Jezz if they have any lying around? Should give you a more accurate idea of prices if nothing else.

Is that for a complete auto-manual conversion kit or just the box? I was under the impression the boxes alone are worth £60-80..

If you do that and go in a convoy, sit at the back (I've sat behind a noisy NA in a convoy, drove me nuts).
