  1. I'm thinking 3 bags and a BIIIIIIIIG gumball.
  2. I don't have any Haribo but I can meet half way in Dundee with some jelly beans and a Snickers?
  3. Good price for a 19000 mile 2002 TT VVTi for sure! I'd love an unmolested 2002.
  4. My front end is rebuilt! Having welded on a new front crossmember and bumper guide a little while back, it meant I could get everything else going! New bumper with RMM lip is on, new bonnet is on, new clear lensed headlights are in, new wings are on! Just to put the dash back in and sort the brakes
  5. Aw man I want it ALL! Other stuff on the list first!
  6. James

    a few new pictures

I'm still undecided as to whether I like it or not, though I can't fault the workmanship - very impressive
  7. Ah man, iPhone 4 + 150W light pictures >>>>>>> iPhone 3GS + no 150W light pictures.
  8. Get some pics up if you haven't already If you have - link me to them Congrats
  9. Nice one, we'll get it sized and see how it seems Thanks duder
  10. Very envious! Looks like it is going to be amazing!
  11. Myself, marcAB10 and monsween got some cracking work done yesterday! Wings fitted (I re-used my original passenger side wing, though it has a little flick above the light cluster, the driver side wing from Hodge!), front bumper fitted (thanks to Magictorch for providing that one!), bonnet fitted (thanks to Hodge for that too!) and clear lensed headlights in (thanks to caseys for them!). The driver side bonnet hinge that I received seems to be bent slightly as the pin pops on it, causing it to sit funny unfortunately. A new one of them and everything should line up fine! All I need now is to put the arch liners back on (securing bumper and wings more), sort the bonnet hinge, fit the bonnet catch, put the inside back together (heater box is being a pain in the a$$!), fit the UK spec rear I'm getting from Marc, do the rear foglight mod, get the nuts for the headlights as they are only held with the bolt at the top and free up the brakes. Sounds like a big list, but when I get a good go at it, it shouldn't take too long really! Connected a big socket to the crank pulley bolt and it turns fine so hoping it fires up easy enough as it doesn't seem seized Here are a couple of pictures (needs the front badge on once the bumper is painted (high build primer for now)):-
  12. Contact DARETT. He has one in a white gel coat. £195 delivered I believe it was.
  13. Obviously personal things but, if going for a full respray, I'd take the roof spoiler off and change the skirts. That'd just be me though, and this isn't my car I like the idea of a non Toyota colour for mine, though at the same time I love the white!
  14. Another good device is actually the Zoom Q3 HD. It is actually more of a musicians product as it focusses as much (if not more) on sound. It has a high quality dual condenser microphone arrangement which records at 24 bit/96kHz (much higher than CD quality). This is done in conjunction with a full HD video recorder (records up to 1080p HD at 25Hz, though also does 720p at 50Hz). It has a threaded bottom so that it can be mounted onto a stand of sorts for stability. The Go Pro and such may be better for video (I haven't read up on them) but the Zoom is fantastic if you want the best sound quality to be captured to go with your video
  15. How much did you get them for if you don't mind me asking Kieran? Will hopefully see them later on
  16. Saw this on the EE site - and numerous facebook links - , total nonce!
  17. This segment of your quote right there is exactly how some others can come to their own conclusions/display their opinion You don't think yellow would work, they don't think pink works. Happy families. (I still think luminous yellow and dark blue look awesome together:- )
  18. I like the idea behind it for sure, certainly works for the GT3RS! Personally, pink isn't my thing and I - again, personal opinion - think a different colour could have worked better against the dark blue, such as a luminous yellow (that IS my thing and Weds Sports too, it would seem!). It is all down to personal taste. Of course you knew that having baby pink accents on a - predominantly - male owned car would incur such responses, but that is part and parcel with modifying anything really!
  19. Front passenger side wing?
  20. With stuff like brakes, I wouldn't go for Mr. Cheapos for the sake of little saving. OEM would suffice for sure! Never worth risking something like that Ok, I'll get stuff under way and see how things look and take it from there anyway! Legend for the info, thanks Scott!
  21. Any links to these refurb kits Scott? That sounds ideal. How about the discs? Just give them a good scour and then take the car for a good run?
  22. My Supra has been sitting in the driveway (not indoors) since August nose down on an inclined driveway. The inside is empty (from heater matrix replacement) and the front end has been rebuilt (following a bump in March). Just been thinking about the brakes and how tragic they are going to be! What is the best way of going about them to allow me to move the thing once I get everything put back together on the inside? Some joy with a hammer and rebuilding calipers or just full on replacing everything? Also, at the same time, should I give a full fluid service to the car as well before trying to fire it up? Keeping in mind the last time it was running was August too. Thanks!
