  1. I want them so much! Sorry I completely forgot to reply to your text Rick! I'll have a think, don't know if I'll manage though which is heart breaking!
  2. Lovely machine Any more pictures of the silver R32?
  3. Looking good! Great that it fired first time too! Shame about the knock sensor but at least it is already identified and can be swapped out. Congratulations on it mate, excellent work!
  4. Please tell me you took out the heater box and replaced the heater matrix unit while the dash was out? It is something that will need done at some point, this would be as good a time as any (I just replaced mine!) Best of luck with everything, fairly rigorous with your methods - I like it
  5. We'll need to get a fly-by and in-car video to capture the sound My little Zoom Q3 HD recorder could be good as the sound quality is nuts.
  6. If wanting a drift style kit, either the BN Sports or a full Ridox is
  7. I'm after the brackets for the 2 nuts on the headlights that bolt it to the body as mine are currently only secured by the top bolt.
  8. Good call! Sounds like a plan.
  9. Passenger seat is in, fog light is grounded and working fine, gauges and stereo are re-wired and working perfectly, bonnet cables and catches were set up wrong so are now fixed and working perfectly every time. Bought some orange blobs which should arrive in the very near future. Once they are here and fitted (I already have the bulbs) I just need to put the arch liners back on and fix a small leak from the under side (hoping just a water pipe, but finding it difficult to locate) and it is all good for MOT
  10. All the best and congrats.
  11. Good reading, insightful! Thank you guys! Sounds like I should try to find an LSD as equipped standard on the SZ-R.
  12. My car is a '94 SZ with a TT conversion. It has no ABS, no TC, no LSD (just an open diff I believe). As it has the W58 5 speed box it is fairly quick (acceleration) given the ratios. It is only a 1st decat short of being full BPU (grade 7 NGK iridium plugs, RSR exhaust, 2nd decat, HKS SLD, HKS FCD, Greddy 2 row FMIC, Envy 1.2 bar RR) at the moment too, so obviously that decat will push it up a considerable amount! What I'm wondering is, when it comes to changing the diff to an LSD at some point, what is required to do so and which would be best for acceleration? TT Auto? Is that doable? Any info greatly appreciated, I'm quite in the dark with regards to all this diff talk!
  13. Hi folks, Needing the bonnet cables that go from the catches to the little white box. Or at least I *think* I do. They don't seem to be working properly. Anyone got working cables/any idea of what to try first in case these are ok? Cheers
  14. I think the fluid would be a definite good start, maybe get more track oriented pads than the fast road. A PM to Chris Wilson may be a good idea
  15. I'll need to get a look at this 350Z at some point as I love the Nismo LMGT4 wheels (I have Rota GTRs on the Supra (Nismo reps))! Also keen to see this Supra if you pick it up!
  16. I use the Halfords HCB005 Calcium battery. Has been great for cold start and when left for long periods of time.

  18. That's a 6 speed chassis number then What will I need? Just an oil filter and sump plug washer? Part numbers? Any idea? Easy to get to the filter?
  19. Going to change the oil on the car today. It is an NA-TT 5spd. Providing the chassis code to Toyota will result in the filter corresponding to the 2JZ-GE NA engine. Is this the same filter as is needed for the 2JZ-GTE Twin Turbo engine? If so then I'll have no problems! My local Toyota dealer should have these in stock I assume? Any alternatives if need be? Lexus etc.?
  20. Welcome along! Grampian region too, where abouts are you? A few of us are central Aberdeen What sort of spec are you aiming for with the Supra?
  21. Yeah, gutted you weren't there man! Marc filmed the first effort. The viscous fan wasn't tightened fully so was wobbling a bit, so we turned off, tightened the bolts and tried again. Not enough petrol so it started to shut off. A trip to BP later and the video above was posted Haha me too! So chuffed! About time!
