  1. If you planned on doing other things to it in the near future, I'd add them to the current list and upgrade while everything is off. Both Whifbitz and SRD offer some nice parts (cams for example) which could be a good idea as everything else is being done anyway! I guess though, being honest, if I was thinking of spending on a full rebuild, I would try to amass parts and single it simultaneously. Obviously that would incur a bigger bill, but it'd be worth it
  2. I like the rear lights. Probably because they are the only thing that looks OEM on it anymore.
  3. Should be a good build, especially as your other Supra seems mighty impressive! Please don't paint this one lime green though, I might just get jealous as I already have a white Supe which isn't up to the standard of yours and I want a green one!
  4. Remember to keep your old ones just in case you have E-mark MOT issues with the others as you know that OEM issue ones are fine
  5. Do the test on a Sunday too - less traffic to cause any OTHER possible issues
  6. Ok cool. I may need to pick one up before you get it going as I'm worried about my EGTs in my cars current guise!
  7. I saw that you were saying 99+vat for club members Paul. Will you be doing it for a little less in a group buy soon?
  8. I think I'll just go with Whifbitz. I know the quality will be there and it'll be right.
  9. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/JAPSPEED-TOYOTA-SUPRA-Mk4-1ST-EXHAUST-STAINLESS-STEEL-DECAT-PIPE-/160755708240?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item256dc97150#ht_1042wt_962 Seeing the part on the side, is that a sensor input meaning it is for a UK spec? I'm just curious as I've read that UK spec and J-Specs have different flange bolt patterns on the turbo side? Thanks
  10. Thanks dude! That's a great help Gives me a curve (roughly to aim for) on SimulationX. Cheers
  11. 1st decat for a prefacelift TT? How much?
  12. Does anyone have a dyno plot for a stock TT Auto? I'm using some simulation software to model torque converters and would like a real-life source at stock settings for reference if possible? I'll probably need to gather some values of stock components too, but will cross that bridge when I get to it. Thanks folks (if you help, of course ).
  13. I definitely want a Syvecs at some point! I want to buy up parts that I'd transfer to my next Supra for this one in the meantime. It'd be interesting to see what a Syvecs could do to a 5 speed BPU. (By the time I can prioritise and afford the Syvecs, I'd be in a position to be able to blow the W58 so it'd be ok ).
  14. Blitz skirts, Varis (Stout) bonnet and an APR GT300 wing would be a start. Front bumper isn't something I recognise (and I have a pretty big database of obscure Supra front bumpers!).
  15. No, but I have read it many times and know that the way it comes on boost is ace now, making me want a small single 6 speed! Haha yeah, thanks!
  16. Probably, it was garbage anyway! I'm glad it is off! Car hasn't boosted like this ever before. It's mental. I see why everyone says that 5 speed BPUs are like small singles! Certainly makes me want a GT35 or something!
  17. First of all, my spec is NA-TT 5 speed with: Walbro 255 NGK Iridium Grade 7 plugs 2nd decat Envy 1.2 Bar RR RSR S/S Catback Exhaust SRD 2 row FMIC Blitz BOV HKS FCD HKS SLD When I got the car, it had a stock airbox fitted and the mild steel version of the RSR exhaust (which I believe is a smaller diameter than my current one). I hit 0.7 and 0.8 bar at the first then 2nd turbo respectively. I've had this Pipercross Carbon Induction Kit fitted to the car since it has been back on the road: With the new RSR exhaust, it has been seeing only 0.65 and 0.75 bar of boost. This afternoon, I changed back to a stock airbox with a new K&N filter. Managed to wrestle (blood, sweat and lots of shouting later) the FMIC pipes back on (proving you CAN run the stock airbox with a front mount ) and tightened everything back up. The car is now boosting 0.7 and 1.0 bar and feels RIDICULOUSLY fast (being a 5 speed, the ratios are in my favour ). Was breaking traction in a straight line in the bone dry with my new 275s and pulling sideways a bit! Awesome I was surprised that there was that much restriction from the other filter. Suffice to say, I'm glad I bought another stock airbox! 1st decat to come next, that should be interesting! Will have to get it dyno'd then to see what it is putting down!
  18. I'm so glad you never got rid of this Love it duder
  19. Add Heywood is selling some Volk GT-V wheels (fronts only). Have a search
  20. Nice shots What parts are still there from when it was singled?
  21. I hear that joke is funnier if you delete system32.
  22. I've thought about a rear seat delete so that I can fit my guitar amp in the back. I sometimes have a rear passenger though, so I probably shouldn't.
