    hks camshaft

as dude said... this is what he means
  3. 11psi is pushing it if running stock HG and ecu. 9psi at the most id say on stock equipment. stock static compression is just to high to run that sort of boost safely for long. Dont forget the advance in timing at 4500 rpm. To much boost + this = bad things. Petty i havnt got the cash spare, id have this just to play about with it and see what the limits realy are
  4. see the thing that gets me right is the w58 is rated around 350-400 max BUT a guy in the states did his entire mapping session on 1 up to 600 ish HP Oviously on the street thats probly totaly different matter but to have 1 hold that power on a dyno impresses me.
  5. the issue i have is your 1st post was a quick hello and then instantly ' my mates car is faster than mine, i need to be faster, what should i do' Now no offence mate that gives me the total wrong impression. To me it just sounds like you came here just to be better than your friend with a better car. Im not singling you out but its been a regular thing on here as of late. On another note welcome to the forum, try and make use of the search button before you post threads as it may of been covered many times before and enjoy your time here
  6. good to hear so the belts dont sag now either?

Good call my man! Its a samsung but how do I go about updating it? Plug it into a modem and let it do its thing?
  10. Dear god what's happening to this forum! I dunno whether its me being in an arsey mood but as of late I've noticed nothing but 5 year olds joining up complaining there mates got a faster car than theres.. So what if he's got a quicker car! That's the way it is. Doesn't matter what you do there will always be someone faster. Ill warn you now a PROPER single install needs a budget of 10k realisticly. What's to say you will be any faster then? And as for that crap about autos standing no chance, well that's bollocks! You clearly don't know a great deal about supras do you. Granted there not as strong as a manual but if you know how to use iit properly they can be quicker than the manuals.
  11. but that sounds like a woman having a crisis.. whats not to like about that
  12. its a 300k+ LEXUS enough said ... although secretly i adore it and would very much like 1
  13. so you ran straight through and it was to quiet? i am suprised! im stil trying to decide if i want the twin box or single with a 2nd decat
  14. god i wish i had enough of the stuff to say that
  15. now i am suprised at that 1 good thing supra belts dont have electrics in them, probly why there cheap
  16. let us know how you get on with J.. if its worth doing ill do it
  17. can i ask does your NA have any decats?
  18. here we go, i knew id seen 1 somewhere. Should be an easy task for a man of your talents not 100% it will fix the problem but its worth a shot http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=532699&highlight=seat+belt
  19. if you give me 5 mins ill dig up the seatbelt refurb thread
  20. it does sound to me like the ecu has put it in limp mode due to a fault throttle related or possibly exhaust related
  21. what about the carrot on a string mod?
  22. my guess is its to quiet for his liking maybe?
  23. Kirk
