Car been painted at the moment in a body shop and I was asked if I want to paint the oem hockey sticks and bottoms of the side pods the same color as the or to leave the oem black (or clean up and paint black but leave the oem look etc) What do most people do? Leave the parts black or would you paint them the same color as your painting your car ? Thanks in advance

We use a thing in Ireland called addressPal, it gives you a virtual address in the US, so for example this would probably be Free shipping within the US. Have it sent to your addressPal virtual address (an AnPost location) they will then ship it to me here in Ireland for about 10 euro.

Hi guys, Bought some new wheels for my Supra and now looking for some tyres. The wheels are 9.5 wide on rear and 8.5 on the front. I dont want a stretched tyre look, I would like the alloys to be flush with the tyre walls etc What size tyre would you recommend ? 265, 275 ? Cheers

Was thinking of something like these for my own supra when its painted, was also looking at the XXR 531 in platinum but I cannot get them anywhere in 18'' (contacted most wheel suppliers in the UK and no joy). The XXR 531 almost look like a set of CCW's without the massive price tag

Easy job to do yourself mate, plenty of tutorials online like youtube, put the lights in an oven for a few mins, pull them apart, sand, mask, primer, paint, re-seal etc Its straight forward to do, I done my own a few months back and was delighted how they came out

I remember back in 2007 when i first joined, the forum used to be always busy. There would always be a constant flow of quality performance parts for sale by members changing setups etc so sometimes it was a bad thing to be logging on here as you would just end up spending money lol Most old school members that i can remember left the supra scene and moved over to other cars like the R35 I post the odd time if looking for something but most of the time i get the answer on one of the facebook pages Personally I would like to see more traders/vendors on here like in previous years. To compare with say the GTR owners club website they have 25+ traders

I have the engine stripped at the moment while car is in bodyshop getting a full respray. The subframes are stripped and been painted too while everything is out of the car. I am thinking about painting the gearbox also. Any tips or advice on doing this? I did a search on here but it came back empty. Has anyone hear painted their gearbox? Cheers

Is there much of a difference in this? Might be a stupid question but i said i would ask anyway as looking at prices of some turbo's online and there is a big enough difference in costs from journal vs a bb turbo etc With regards to spool time is it noticeable is what i really want to know, is it worth paying the extra money so that the turbo is bb .....
