  1. Facelift cars have a problem with the remote boot release. The only fix I have heard of is fitting one from a non facelift car. I found mine released better without the stock spoiler on, but still wont release all the time.
  2. You need to get along to one of the non-static events. When you see 30+ Supras in a convoy somewhere it really makes you appreciate them. We should be running DragonCol up in the borders around October time so keep an eye out for that one.
  3. Much as I enjoy going back through the thread to point out the obvious how about this reply that you ignored? Its not just me that has noticed it, and when you get comments such as then its time to stop and think why this isnt the first time you have heard people suggest its something you have broken.
  4. Or when people suggest you stop fiddling about with stuff, or suggests you stop doing a wire tuck, or suggests you stop razzing the nuts off the car when there's a multitude of problems on it. People are getting really quite bored replying to you and you just ignore their replies and carry on asking the same question and making the same mistakes. Did you even search for the subject of 'starting problems' or 'car wont idle' and see what has been suggested in the past? I have asked the mods to look at your posts very closely and shooo them out of the technical section as soon as you stop listening to advice. I have said it before, if you annoy enough of the technical people on the forum they will stop replying to your posts, and believe me you are annoying enough of the technical people on the forum for that to happen. You have been given so much advice on the forum and ignored every single bit of it. There's stuff in this thread you have chosen to ignore which is extremely relevant to the question. You need to learn to read what has been written and reply to it otherwise your threads get pushed out of the technical section as they have no benefit as you dont actually answer any of the questions or confirm any of the suggestions.
  5. I will let somebody else fill in the gaps so it doesnt appear I'm picking on you. Anybody care to clarify why I think it might be ironic?
  6. I know, if we could do it further North then I would. I am planning DragonCol for October on the Scottish Borders so we will have something closer to home for you guys...
  7. So I'm thinking we have a nice subsidised BBQ, perhaps a marquee and maybe even a big projection screen. Not quite sure what Toyota can put on inside, if they can get a JGTC car in that would be amazing so thats what I'm going to suggest. This is the Toyota HQ and car park so I think we would be good for 200+ cars http://goo.gl/maps/oG0Qb I may also talk to Brands, Silvertone, Donno or Thruxton to see how much it is to hire and maybe do the convoy thing.
  8. so, Toyota came back with the following

    Hello guys!

My last mkiv went to live in Sweden, couldnt have been a smoother deal so if you want to buy one from the UK then its fairly trouble free.
  10. Nah, well down from that. Should be about 140 miles on the Saturday. Allowing a decent time for lunch and an afternoon cup of tea by the river. Even Friday and Sunday routes come in less than 200 miles each. I'm still playing with the Friday route as I dont like the amount of time it is taking and the lunch stop isnt what I want.
  11. It's not that we drink free, its that we nick peoples drinks and nobody complains. Its magic!! I really thought the hotel would do a special menu for us, they could make a killing on it but they didnt seem interested so we just eat locally and it will be fine. I may go back to Rotterdam for DB14, that hotel and the whole area was great.
  12. The hotel have said they cannot do the buffet option for us and also cannot put on a special menu for us. So its their full a la carte stuff (which is not cheap) or next door to the hotel we have Buffalo Grill / Courtepaille / Mac Donald / La pataterie / Pizza Del Arte. So there's something there for everybody. Especially if you remember the Buffalo Grill from 2 years ago!!
  13. I will see if I can get to the Toyota PR chap on Twitter or Facebook.

  15. I would expect the film bit to finish around 6.30pm or 7pm, then a drive out to the food place is about 20 minutes, and then the food place shuts at 11pm. The food place is also a hotel if you want to book in there. I can send you the details, or you can crash at Scott's place.
  16. I might even throw in a free bag of popcorn each if we get over 45 people going.
  17. nothing Super about it though, no Super powers involved which is what makes them Super Heroes. SO that bloke in Bradford dressed at Batman, was he a super hero? He went a few steps beyond. Oh, and well done to LBM for sorting the clothing. Cant wait to see everybody wearing it.
  18. DB13 clothing stuff should be ready in a day or two. LBM has a sample which I'm hoping to collect this week.
  19. Thanks, that makes it a little easier, I was going to have to route round that right turn otherwise. We mostly do fine with the road signs in France so we should be fine on Dragonball 2013 in May.
  20. How did the pipe get on the wrong port?
  21. Might be one for the French people on the forum, but I have come across a road sign on the DB13 route that says no right turn, but has a picture of a truck under it. Making me think it is no right turn for trucks only, but cars can do it. Anybody confirm that? Picture attached
