  1. Can you track down his contact details and let me know then as I'm happy to try anything I can to get the part at a Toyota HQ or factory.
  2. Hmm, might be time to lock down the PM boxes to a max of 10 pms before they have to pay.
  3. Wile's wrap supplier can also do really large sticker sets of the DB logo and the 13s. Is anybody interested in those instead of a wrap? Wile can post up some pictures if anybody is.
  4. bump for the DB13 clothing. If you want some please order in plenty of time. I ordered my stuff and it looks great, black t-shirt is amazing and I had a custom t-shirt made up too.
  5. black with a polished/silver rim.
  6. The system at Eurotunnel scans your reg number and if it ties in to the booking it lets you through, if it doesnt you have to tippity tap on the keyboard thing with your reference number, so it pays to have the right reg number please folks.
  7. thanks, popped the missing n't in now.
  8. It was many years ago and there's been no complaints since so I wouldn't let that put you off. Just do the usual searches on the internet to see people's good and bad stories and see what you make of them.
  9. I doubt it. I knew Pete the owner well but a few threads on here were less than complimentary about their work and they threatened legal action so havent really been mentioned much since. If he wants to talk to us as a forum again we are always happy to listen, but I doubt very much he will give the forum any sort of discount.
  10. Lol, turns out there are 2 Chris Baileys going. Silverhaze is the other one and they are on the later train. The list doesnt include passengers. I'm not tracking passengers at all as that would drive me bonkers.
  11. Not sure on that one. I'm going to suggest everybody leaves Ashford travelodge at the same time just in case they decide to book us all on the same train. With Eurotunnel you never quite know what to expect when you pull up. Either way we will wait until 10am France time at the petrol station on the other side so if people are on a later train I wont go without them.
  12. I will update the first post, you wont be issued with tickets. You just roll up to the gates, it should recognise your registration number and let you through. If not then you use the booking number that will be sent to you later this week. Its all electronic.
  13. I believe Tracey has sold her space to Craig so will update that once I have the confirmed details.
  14. You will be allocated a time for each train, currently it looks like this
  15. Sunday 19th May taking 2 trains from Calais. First train is at 4.20pm (France time) second train is at 4.50pm (France time). Second train will arrive back in the UK at 4.30pm (UK Time)
  16. Hi folks, To avoid it being lost in the swamp of posts in the main DB13 thread I thought I should post in here the various train timings we are working to. You can ask sensible questions in here, but keep all chit chat to the main DB13 thread. Friday 17th May Taking 2 trains from Eurotunnel Folkestone as they cannot fit us all on one train on the lower deck. First train is at 7.20am (so have to get at Eurotunnel by 6.50am for check-in) second train is at 7.50am (so have to be at Eurotunnel by 7.20am) The second train should arrive in Calais by 9.30am (France time). We will all stop at the Total petrol station here http://goo.gl/maps/Ebex7 And I plan on leaving the petrol station at exactly 10am (France time).

    hey

You know theres 50 mkiv Supras coming to Rouen in May? Might be a chance to pop along and see a few Supras.
  18. It has been suggested that we make the Saturday trip out to the lunch time stop a Comic Book/Super hero day. So people would dress up as their favourite character from Comic books or Superheros. No real reason behind it, just something that has been suggested. How many of those attending DB13 would do that? Doing it on the Friday wouldnt work as we have to leave the hotel by 6.30am which means people are faffing with costumes when I want them to get in the car and drive. Thoughts and comments?
  19. I need to get DB13 out the way first so I can then focus on this, but looking at something in mid July if that fits in with Toyota. I will be my usual creative self and find something slightly different to do.
  20. Toyota HQ is in Epsom in Surrey, south of London. The Toyota in Derby is a manufacturing plant.

    Supra love

oh, and thats the other thing I have learnt. Dont go fiddling too much with the thing as that beats the love out of the car. Stick with stock twins, boost them up to 1.3bar with decent cooling, fueling and boost controller, stick in RLTC and then enjoy the car. Or do what the Nums do and track the hell out of one, they are an amazing track car too.

Havent seen that one. It's just the noise and the stance of it that does it for me. For the price there is nothing to match the Supra. Fast engine, good handling (for a 3400lb car) and 4 seats so I can justify having it as a second car.

    Supra love

I do sometimes wonder about trying all the cars I wanted as a kid. TVR cerbera, RX7, old school M3 but they would only be a fill in until I come back to a Supra as they still look good, can be tuned to go really fast with very little effort and when I'm at the back of the Dragonball convoys it is amazing ot see the reactions. On my 3rd mkiv now, will probably change it in a couple of years time for exactly the same.
  24. I was told it was the mechanism in the boot that needed replacing. I wonder if the catch itself on the boot lid might be different. Certainly worth looking in to.
