probably a 4.15pm showing, which means arriving around 3.45pm, which would be a 2.45pm departure from South Mimms and a 3.20pm departure from Thurrock services...probably.

I find with all the TomTOm units that they sit a long way away from the driver and I'm continually fiddling with mine so I bought an extended screen mount for it. Sits right on the edge of the dash now and much easier to change settings while on the move.

We could do a convoy from South Mimms round to Thurrock and then on to BlueW.

I will release the routes at the end of this weekend.

Just a placeholder folks so you keep the date free. DragonCol 2013 is more than likely going to be on the 5th and 6th October. Scottish Borders and above. Arrive Friday night, bit of a drive on the Saturday, Saturday night party in the hotel, slope off home on the Sunday. Finally bringing an event to Team Beard.

thats a great price for that unit. It's the one I use at all the events as it has the biggest screen I could find and is quick to recalc routes. And most importantly it takes the itinerary files. I have asked TomTom which devices will and wont take the files.

I would need Scott to comment on the Garmins but I think they all take itinerary files. The more recent TomTom units probably wont take the files. Best thing to do is go through the menus and see if itinerary planning is an available option. If it isnt then I dont know the best way to get the route in. We can give you start and end points but I dont know how to force a route on the new TomTom units. I have them on my Facebook so I will go and ask that question and see what comes back.
