    More than likely Glasgow as thats over the m6 side of the country. Need to look at the possible routes and hotels for this, but will get Bluewater Fast and Furious out the way first.

    The route was tweaked to keep Havard out of Rouen. We snuck in the north east corner and back out but there were no trams this time.

    I will let everybody else tell you about the routes and stopovers we went to this year. I dont know how I can top it next year.

    Lets try and keep the picture thread to just pictures and have the chit chat in here please. Hope you all had a great time. Next year I'm going to need some help if we do 50 cars again, I'm frazzled as I never really stopped answering questions and telling people what to do!!

    I dont think we know the exact time yet, they had to decide over the weekend which slot to give us and then we will be able to plan the whole thing from there.

    wasnt that a Tesco with Momentum99? I think somebody said there is a shell in the centre of Ashford. Its not a massive place and I'm sure we can find it.

    Abz will still be there, just not in the slowmobile.

    remember folks, the one thing I cannot fix is a forgotten passport. Problems at Eurotunnel are fixable, forgotten undies and socks is fixable, lack of passport is game over for getting back in to the country. So my one word of advice is PASSPORT

    next year I may see if I can get a group breakdown recovery and pop it on the price. Chances of more than 1 car failing would be slim.

    will do. Off to clean the car again, find all the bits and bobs I need and off I go. Dont forget the passports chaps!!

    ticket all changed to SteveM's details. So I think thats all the changes done, all the fannying about finished with.

    are you stopping at Mimms or just passing through? mimms is 10 minutes from home for me but if nobody else is stopping there then I can head on down to Thurrock.

    what time you coming past South Mimms or Thurrock? I may be able to make it to the convoy depending how the car prep goes.

    Would certainly appear so. They say you get the first 2 days free so I'm just paying for the 3rd day. You can still cancel any time before you leave the country. Perhaps give them a kick on the phone.

    Congrats on the new business. Shame you couldnt make this, it should be a great one. Keep the 5th and 6th October free for DragonCol in Scotland though.

    Im a Gold Card member with The AA so I got mine for £22. Which is nice.

    Im waiting to see what happens with Tyson's ticket as I cannot keep going back to Eurotunnel as I'm going to miss somebody. I current have a reg change for Guigsy, a car and reg change for MarcP, a date change for another member and Tyson's ticket to allocate.

    Must be Toyota St Albans being crap. I went in there the other day to ask for a quote and the lady said 'its a fixed price, let me just see how much' as she looked at the poster on the wall listing their old people's cars. I said it wont be on the list, its a Supra, she said S U P R A and wandered away to find a parts chap. 10 minutes later they came back and said they were struggling to find the right part and would need the car to measure the disk size!! They then came back at £360 all in for new disks, pads and fitting. I got back in the best Toyota they ever built and I left.

    Probably best not, I need to focus on whats infront of me and not what the best angle is for the hoons going past. But we will find cars to put the cameras on, just come and see me if you cannot find a car to put one on.
