  1. Last few years weather has been good around this time, nice and cold in a morning (heavy frost last year) sunshine and bright but not to hot. My car loves the cold especially if the track temp is ok
  2. You could give these guys a trym there in Mansfield which isn't that far out of Chesterfield. I you them and Tom Wilko from chesterfield has also used them, they can sort you tryes also. http://www.tyre4u.co.uk/wheelalign.htm
  3. You can put your stuff where i park motorhome/trailer in pit area, it'll be safe enough and my mrs is normaly about
  4. Go for it and buy them i'm sure you would notice a big improvement in times on the 15th Only another £400 to re rubber thhem when you use that set of tyres up. Are you in j-spec break already?
  5. I went up to this fat bird in the pub last night, you're a big lass aren't you I said, tell me somthing I don't know she replied, with a tear in her eye. Salad tastes nice
  6. After destroying a set of brand new MT's at Suprapod 2009 in 2 x 1/4 mile runs i had my arches rolled so there isn't a problem there, i'll need to swap my rear brakes to j-spec which isn't that much of a problem as i've got a set in the workshop, so its just a case of do i want to spend £300 and have i got enough time to get it sorted before Oct 15th
  7. A picture would be good, i may be interested if there is enough rubber left for 1 meeting Where about are you in Derbyshire?
  8. When you used them without rolled arches and the rubbed what damage did they do to the tyres? Did it leave a groove?
  9. After spending a lot of money on 2 seperate HKS clutch systema nd getting limit wear this time i'd like something that last a bit longer and i'm also drawn towards the RPS. I did have a guy trying to get me into an ACT unit but i've not been able to reasearch these yet. Have you ever used one?
  10. I'm hoping to make 15/16 i've got car being looked at now to try and sort the disappearing pedal, if i get that fixed i can run a reduced boost setting and it may be ok, if not i'll not be worrying about traction issues of the line I've still not decided which way to go with a new clutch, Mr Whifin has quoted me a very good price for a Carbonetic triple plate but i'm still looking at other makes and types. Its a lot of money which evr way i go and i've got my daughter wedding to pay for next year and possible and house move
  11. Anything will do as they don't check. You could hire one from race control office if needed. Just rememeber the helmet is for YOUR safety so it all depends on how safe YOU want to feel
  12. A bit of information for anybody thinking of attending or for Scotty to decide which day to make it a club event. Saturday 15th is normaly the quieter of a weekend meet and if your wanting track time the better choice. Sunday is race day so normally more people wanting to use the strip meaning longer waiting times and more delays (track shut to clean up spills & club races). Both days are normally quieter later in the day as cars break and people leave. If you want to stay the wekend it is possible to arrive friday evening after 6pm
  13. Have you sold these? Exedy hyper twin plate clutch and flywheel comes with release bearing..only done 2,000 road miles like new........Price: 800.00 euro Brand new act clutch kit and light weight flywheel, rated for 850 ft pounds, comes with new release bearing.....price 600.00 euro
  14. I'm having a similar problem, when clutch is worked hard or gets hot it disappears. I changed clutch fluid and fitted an heat shield around master cylinder. When i tried bleading the clutch fluid through the system the peddle was stopped at floor level, i then decided to swap slave cylinders, new MrT one fitted, still does the same. Next step was to fit a new master cylinder. Ryan did note this when he was mapping on RR, he suggested i fitted a n/a slave cylinder with more travel. I'm now thinking my clutch is slipping since it was remapped with more torque and power so the dissapearing clutch is a side issue Just got to decide which clutch system to get I've had 2 HKS twin plates and only done less than 5k miles so this time what ever i get will have to work and last. Its not an easy solution getting a road/drag clutch a bit like suspension systems nothing really does both properly. Good look with sorting your problem and keep us posted, also well done today with a 10.1 using a knackered clutch, no wondered you didn't do a 1.5/1.6 60ft time and get into the 9's
  15. So which lucky person got these? JP? Much sort after good bit of kit, if anybody is looking to sell this type of suspension set up drop me a pm
  16. Well done Mike sounds like you had a good weekend. Did they car run well without any issues? Any pics?
  17. £40 from mr toyota. just gave then chassis number and key supplied 5 days later, works perfect. I did try haveing a key cut for £5, after 3 attempts he and i gave up and he even gave me my £5 back
  18. There you go Wez, my 4040 is a few years old so not on there list of produces now. http://www.billetturbochargers.com/Contact_Us.ews
  19. Comma then a space is the next lesson in grammar for you this term
  20. Anybody got a new or used n/a 6 speed slave cylinder for sale?
  21. Found it from doing a search Part number for the n/a 6 speed slave cylinder is 31470-14070.
  22. Yep you get points per meeting, trophies per meeting for winning the time bracket your run in and winner of series, i think last year there as a free roll cage for the winner all 2 rounds in october, nice cold air and plenty of power, last couple of years the weather bben good also, cold at night but sunny days
  23. Its looking unlikely i'll be going now, the suns out and i'm thinking all the other jobs/things i could be doing or spending me cash on if its going to be total waste tomoz and how p*ssed of i'll feel if car dont run right. It's my fault its not read for this round has the only thing i've done since last time out is put some bonnet lifters on, i knew this clutch pressure was going to be problem and i was hoping to get time and swap the master cylinder but work and other play days have took my time and thoughts instead I've got till october for the next round and have some ideas to try and resolve the problem before then starting with a R150 slave cylinder or even a totaly new clutch. I've no been trilled with the HKS twin since it was fitted so perhaps its time for a change, just dont know what to yet
