  1. just put it in supra chat, if the lords from above find it worthy enough you might be priveliged enough to have it moved to projects...
  2. Welcome mate, from Manchester myself so pretty local. Try to get down to the meet July 11th (look in NW section).
  3. Right, I'm going to actually turn up to one of these... Put me down for the BIGGEST steak they do, as I'm a growing boy lol
  4. Thats one of the worst fitted kits I have ever seen...
  5. Just booked it now. They don't allow a single night booking so had to go with the 2 night discount for £30... Toying with the idea of going down Friday night now.
  6. We will be up for convoying add us to the list...
  7. Will pay for this tonight... So in other words it's £20 for camping, unless you want to stay for 2 nights which would be £30 (2x£15)...?
  8. I spent close to £600 on 4 Defi gauges lol... They are VERY over priced for what they are, but they do look cool
  9. I get on M6 at jct 22... Usually set off about 6am to get there for 8.30/9.00... Anyone from the NW staying at Billing? We are off to Japfest 2 at Donny on the Sunday aswell.
  10. Don't you mean 4 x £1million pound cars and £300,000 on McD's
  11. Got the cam gaskets and 16 washers last month. They wanted around £64 for them... Luckly I had a student who works for RRG, he got them at the price Toyota sell them to the dealer, think it was about £50 so the parts are expensive even before anyone starts adding their bit.

    First Supra

I was into fords when I was younger... Did the usual xr2i, rs turbo etc. Decided that when I started earning ok money to treat myself to a nice car. Was after an Escort Cosworth but started to look at Jap cars aswell. I must admit "Fast and Furious" was a big selling point for a Supra. I wentr to look at a few Skylines, rx7's and supras at an import garage. Sat in the Supra and was smitten straight away. Next job was to think about what sort of Supra I wanted. I had looked at normal TT and done a bit of research on power figures etc. Decided I could afford a single so went on the hunt. Got in touch with JM-Imports and they sent over a few cars they could import. As soon as I saw this picture I fell in love Put the deposit down that night and then sat around for 11 weeks until it was imported. I still say now the day I went to pick it up was one of the most exciting days of my life (took 2 of my mates on the bus/train journey with me). When we came round the corner to Jurgen's unit the car was right in the middle, had just been polished and looked amazing. I couldn't beleive that it was mine and I was going to drive home in it. I remember all 3 of us just said "**** me, is that it?".... Awesome day
  13. I asked this a few years ago... The booking is for the person, NOT the car. So you would have to buy 2 drag tickets for 2 people. On the plus side you could watch all the other drag people screw the arse off your car up the strip for free lol
  14. Had a search but they were old posts. So my clutch is starting to slip in 5th gear pulls, biting point high on the pedal. I found out the clutch can be adjusted to get a bit more life from it but I basically think it can't take the power anymore (was running 550 fine, now at 700). The problem I might find is that it is an ORC clutch that has some sort of conversion from push to pull (or the other way round). If I get another clutch could this would have to be rectified. Ive also looked at replacing with another ORC but the high power application 709 series has been discontinued So what are my options guys need a clutch that will handle the power on the street. I very rarely drag the car, or even launch hard, mainly rolling pulls.
  15. White for the Ridox, really makes the carbon stand out
  16. Ok, cheers Chris. I have the manual on the computer somewhere. Will have a bit of research on it. What sort of sealant should be used on it...?
  17. Mine is one of them ORC clutches with the push to pull conversions, would have to pull the clutch from the box to find out which one it was though...
  18. How would the oil find its way out of the head and all down my engine...? Do the front caps seal the front of the cam towards the front cam seal gasket...?
