  1. Welcome mate, Supra bumpers are a nightmare... I once cracked mine coming off the industrial estate that the bodyshop was located on after just having the bumper fixed and painted... Wasnt happy at all
  2. Sorry, changed the head gasket and all upper engine gaskets last year, so they have all (cam seals & cam cover gasket) only done about 3k... but the cam cover seals have been taken off the old cam covers and put on the new ones I had done last week, as my old cam covers were cracked. Didnt leak until about 1000 miles after the new cam covers being changed
  3. cam seals are pretty much brand new mate...
  4. got a quote from Paul regarding the air flow diverters on the skirts, watch this space
  5. No limit, minimum of 10 cars I think... It's 69 miles from Billing, about an hour away
  6. Whifbitz mate, about £550 i think

  8. So just to finish this thread off really, all bodywork done very happy indeed. You have maybe seen most of these in other posts but stuck them in here as a fitting end result
  9. Was speaking to Lui and he said it might be difficult to get enough members to make it worth while getting a club stand together. Personally I was thinking of making it a full weekend, doing Suprapod, camping at Billing then heading back up to Donnington for the Sunday. Anyone interested...? We need a minimum of 10 cars to get a stand. If not I'll try and find another club to get my car in with, or put it in show & shine... Tickets are £15 advanced (although if Lui could sort it, I'm sure the would be the same as Japfest just gone). 1. Add Heywood 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10.
  10. Ok, so the car had quite a big oil leak, found it to be one of the cam covers had cracked at the front and was letting oil everywhere. Got some new (second hand) cam covers for the car and everything seemed fine. Said oil leak is now back, had a very quick check (coil cover off) and couldn't see anything wrong, no cracks etc. It seems the oil must be coming from the front somewhere as the coil cover was dry all the way up to the small foam lip that covers the cam wheels, this was pretty oily, as is the lower cam belt cover. Let the engine idle for a short while and the viscous fan was blowing drops of oil around the engine bay (towards the throttle body/fuse box). The puzzling thing is it was fine through Dragonball, and must have started leaking some point Sunday on the way home. I had just re used the old cam cover gaskets, althought they only have around 3000 miles on them. Should I get some new cam cover gaskets and try that...? Or do we think it could be something else? I find it strange it didn't start leaking straight away though... Can leaky cam covers make a big mess as the leak looks quite large. Cheers Add
  11. Don't worry about all the guys on here, enjoy the car mate. Be different, have fun with it. Personally I don't think it looks too bad from the pics. I've seen ALOT (chargespeed on stock body) worse...
  12. It's the same one on Matt H's car I think...

  15. my poor attempts... cool old school muscle the castle from Saturday Ridox in all it's glory
  16. Epic trip... To repeat what everyone has said already, the trip took ALOT of planning from certain people, and I am truely gratefull for their time & effort. The Saturday drive was lovely, definately the weather for it. Nice to catch up with some familiar members, and meet new ones. My car maybe isn't the best spec to do these sort of things, I was well and truely fubbard when we got home last night after 12 hours of solid driving. oh and one last thing..... I HATE FRENCH PETROL STATIONS!!!!
  17. Hi peter, could you phone me at your convenience. I was in a convoy down to Ashford and they have taken me way off course to your house. I was hoping I could re arrange dropping spoiler off to Sunday evening on my return journey. I'm on my phone so txt or call would be best to arrange. Thanks
  18. I never got round to booking the Ashford travelodge as there were rooms available a few days ago... Not a hotel room anywhere near there... something big must be going on around Thursday down there. Looking to book one in Maidstone instead
