  5. It was a meguirs car for a bit before he sold it, the orange na auto was a different car...
  6. About to book Oulton Park 14th November for my first outing... £130 open pitlane
  7. It got written off about 4 years ago...
  8. We have all done it, when i first passed my test i had a mini that all my disposable income wrnt on, bucket seats , minilites, de seamed etc. i was working in a gym getting maybe £500 a month. Then came the rs turbos and they cost me a small fortune. I bought my Supra when I was 26 and managed to run it, paythe mortgage and pay for 2 kids upbringing aswell. Dont listen to these boring farts, get a £18k loan and buy the best Supra you can, i know of a nice white one for sale You only live once, go and enjoy yourself
  9. A harness bar...? Did you get the one that bolts onto the upper seat belt points, or was it welded into place...? Could you pm me how much it cost
  10. Cheers steve, found a bit of info that you weld or self tap the plate on the engine side after drilling the hole and then boltthrough from the cabin...
  11. Wanting to put harnesses is the mr2, i have seen some people use a harness bar that attaches to the top seat belt mounts and runs behind the seats. This would be perfect but I cant find anywhere that sells them in the uk... So i have been looking at these http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/performance/harness-eye-bolts-plates i read you drill the firewall at the back, would these plates then be welded onto the engine side of the firewall and the eye bolts bolted through...? Or welded inside the cabin...?
  12. Can I come in my mr2 shitter...? supra is up with Jurgen having a new clutch...
  13. This is for sale 2 seconds from my house... It seems in pretty goo nick, new wheels and a colour change and it would be alright...
  14. Ive found the fun is in building and progressing the car, once there is nothing left to do it gets very boring very quickly. I cant wait till mine sells so I can buy a cheaper £4k car and start stripping out interior and buying bits for it...
  15. I changed mine for a gates racing that Paul at whifbitz ran in his time attack car. Cost £80 i think... He did a cheaper gates belt for about £50. 264 is still none interferance for your piece of mind...
  16. You may well need the little grommet on the intake cam cover for the pcv valve, they go rock hard over time and just break when you remove them, abot £6 iirc
  17. oulton Park in cheshire is my local track...
  18. Soon as my Supra sells I'll be after a R33 gtst or S14a for a track car so I'm game Add Heywood - Manchester
