i was going to say, if you have to pay 500 quid excess, could you not just pay for it out of your pocket? it looks like now its going to come up less than that so your going to be slightly better off, you'll be able to fill the car up with fuel for the meet on the 12th!! were going through something similar at the mo where a lady reversed into us, the repair is just over her excess, but she is happy to pay so not to have a claim against her. just a thought for you. richie

it'll still draw the same amount of power which will be around 3kw but will not be on for such along time, therfore using less kilowatt hours. does this make sense? its hard to explain, it will be cheaper to run, by how much i am not sure. richie

just been clicking through some of the pics on the site, there is sme great looking cars on there. richie

i went to court a few months back for crossing the line on an amber! the camera showed clearly that my front wheels went over on amber, a friend of ours is a solicitor and i got some advice from him, in the book of law you are NOT allowed to cross the line on an amber, it carries the same penlty as going over on a red! i got 3 points on a TS10 i think the code is and a 60 quid fine, insurance is not affected by it. if you want to contest go for it but i think you will lose, hope this helps richie

over the last few years i have spent time working with these guys and teaching them as well, also doing the same courses as some of them, They are a good bunch of lads, although the stereo typed example of them being scruffy and too chilled is mostly done because that is what stories go around and they do it on purpose! Other times they have very blatent disreguard for young officers which is very funny when you are with them. again its because they can do! richie

Well its happened again, jen parked the supra in her normal spot in the carpark along duck street in rushden and when she got out, a lady in her chrylser Something ( looks like an american car) back straight into jen:( jen was out the car at the time but could not tell the women to stop. its the first time that this women has had an accident in 20 years of driving! they have exchanged details and we have taken it to our local body shop, to have a look at. its not to bad passanger side back of the wheel arch and a bit of skirt got it aswell, pushed it in a little bit. they can repair it but not for 2 weeks:( i will post some pics up tomorrow when its light and have taken some. Bless the pair of them, they tried to rub it away again!! dry dust ribbed into the paintwork!!!!! richie

Saw ths again yesterday in B&Q car park so waited till they came out, the owner is a 68 year old lady!!!!! got to be one of the oldest supra drivers!!! richie

just a quick one on this, we ordered some stuff from a company from the states, at a good price, which was cheaper than here. Igot a letter from parcel force world wide to be told that i had to pay VAT on the items, a release fee as well and a 50p charge to have it delivered to the post office. it would of been cheaper to of got a different colour and got it in the uk. richie

Lady driving, about 14:30 today was heading to higham ferres, looked either black or dark gun metal, no rear wing on it though, looked very nice. we were going in the other direction towards Raunds in a black one. richie

we had one for about 3 years, loved it nothing went wrong, well apart from me hitting the supporting coloums that hold up asda with it!! ours was the 1.8 daker model, good fun to drive very quick through the bends and good when you go topless!!
