  1. Hmmm -intresting! I was hoping the dubious spelling was part of his elaborate smoke & mirrors strategy. But no.
  2. Damn right! Those nasty law enforcement officers and guards. What were they thinking? Perhaps back here in Blighty, the Queen should taser everyone who reaches 100. I'm not sure why, but it'd be more fun for everyone than receiving a standard issue (albeit royal) b'day card.
  3. Of course there was the guy who fired off a few shots and killed a security guard in a museum in USA yesterday. He was harmless really - as he was only 88 years old.
  4. Very nice. I still have a soft spot for the MK3
  5. CS gas would have been ok too. She was a very naughty woman.
  6. I must watch this first but I can't resist - I'm building up a splendid mental picture here. My guess is, the cop should have given her headbutt or something. Anyway, I''ll have a watch and see if my opinion changes. One moment please...

  8. Couple of things, Robbie left take That a few years ago, so I guess you refer to the Barlow. I believe there is a strong case for fashion mags etc encouraging negative body images in women etc... I'll have to dig this up, but apparently in some south Pacific Islands (like French Polynesia) there were no, I repeat no fashion/celebrity gossip magazines of this nature. There was also no anorexia etc...it was unheard of. At some point, these magazines were made available for sale and lo' and behold -The women started believing their physical attributes were incorrect... Voila! Edit: Ok it seems it was tv programmes imported from USA that were acknowledged as being influencial and there's also a counter point of view stating some mags may not encourage eating disorders. Me and my memory Link
  9. This is an interesting point. While I may not seek to date a girl who's chronically obese, I also wouldn't aim to tell her that I find her physically unpleasant to look at. You are always permitted thoughts/judgements - may they be right or wrong, but button the mouth I guess I'm off for a pie. Back to the OPs thread - I don't get why ladies like to buy this crap. Edit: Btw, while we're at it, even though I'm ridiculously handsome, I'm only 5'5" so although we can't have everything...ladies - form a queue.
  10. Edit: Actually Paul, while I'm on the subject, have a great trip
  11. It's either those turbos of yours, or you have a canary as a stow-away. Well done on you purchase Edit: Oh and go easy with that right foot, eh? I once knew of a man who had his Supra a short while. He loved his Supe. He loved pizza. In fact he loved pizza so much, he embedded his pride & joy into the side of a well known pizza restaurant. True story. And the only thing that was taken away that night was...
  12. Good luck with the sale. That's going in my sig. Ta
  13. Ah ok. Enjoy yourself sir Edit: The perfect lunch. Apart from the fact I don't drink anymore - Mythos was my favourite
  14. Ummm... If the truth be told, I was waiting for someone to say "Where?" Then all I needed was to reply with the infamous word "Abroad." Luckily you came along and reminded us all of your Greek heritage, thus saving me from typing out, at best, a poor joke. I have my coat and directions at the ready for Beachy Head. Or perhaps I may enjoy a length of rope and a nice hotel, say in Thailand.
  15. I think it's quite obvious where he's going.
  16. Nice idea. No really. But some monumental life changing stuff is just around the corner for me. And I've got to play someone's wedding in my band this coming weekend. Double meh!
  17. Ooh...Cheeky Mark's my favourite.
  18. Makes we want to go to a private Girls Allowed gig on the off chance.
  19. Apparently Le Mans has been cancelled Or has it?
