  1. Wish I new mate? I need to learn how to datalog for any future issues but for now I'm stuck until I can get it booked in somewhere! Just tried my spare Ecu and new plugs just because I don't know what else to check but it's still no good, is there any testing procedures for the map sensor?
  2. Yes emu powers up with a steady green light and I think the Orange light slowly flashes. I have 550 injectors in too
  3. Well I'm still none the wiser, just fitted a brand new o2 sensor and it's exactly the same?? I'm not hopeful but I have a spare oem ecu so il give that a try then il just have to bite the billet and let my mapper have a look
  4. I'm guessing the water temp and intake temp sensors or working OK as I got 2 different readings from cold and warm. All I can do at this point is wait a few more days until my new lambda sensor arrives, in the mean time is it worth unplugging it for now?
  5. Running e-manage ultimate and I only pulled the efi fuse to reset the stock ecu, I have the aem afr gauge but its not hooked up to the emu and then one oem o2 lambda sensor.
  6. I don't think it needs to be calibrated? it's the aem afr gauge I'm not convinced it's a faulty reading just yet as there is strong fuel smell from the exhaust at times! I forgot how difficult it is to get at that bloody water temp sensor but I managed to take a reading from it this morning so after Iv drove to work il take another, same goes for the ait sensor.
  7. The coolant temp sensor is fairly new but I would like to test it again to rule it out, could you remind me of the procedure pls Ricky. Lambda just gives a solid 0.3v but it's exactly the same with my spare even after the lemon juice trick, my new one should arrive soon so I can try that one. Thanks
  8. Fraid not I regret not installing one now, is it something I could install without having the map tweaked? I'm pretty sure it used to be in the 14s at cruising
  9. I can't work out why my afr's are showing rich at idle and cruising but don't have any running issues? Everything seems to feel just how it did after mapping, I can't find any vac leaks and Iv swapped out the o2 sensor for my spare until my new one arrives but the readings from ox1 pin still show 0.3v cold - 10.6 Warm - 11s 12s Cruising - 13s Short boost runs - 11s There was 2 changes I made which I think was before I realised the afr's was off Charcoal canister was put back in and spark plug gap opened to 0.28 then ecu reset but Iv since put things back exactly how I had it before just for peace of mind. Any other checks I can do before I get it booked in? Could it be a fuel pressure issue or map sensor? Iv forgot how to check the map sensor I get 5v from pin1 what should I get from the other 2 Thanks
  10. After closer inspection you was right. It's not actually in the block but attached to the lower runners and I seem to recall being told I don't need it plugged in since I don't have any of the vac tank left! Thanks for your help guys
  11. E-manage ultimate but Iv no way of checking it myself, the car was running spot on before the ecu reset and I only adjusted the gap to see if it would cure a very minor idle hesitation.
  12. really wish I'd just left the car alone now!! All I did was adjust the spark plug gap a little too 0.28 and reset the ecu and now I'm running rich, swapped out the o2 sensor for another and it's still the same! That's when I found this blue plug just dangling so it's now been plugged back in but after a drive to work idle afr was still mid 11's
  13. Vsv?? Possibly dumb question but what's that, is it the vacuum tank? If so that's been removed and so has the charcoal canister, It's NA-t with a TT intake manifold so Iv removed all that.
  14. Googles my friend! May have found why I'm running rich and where my fuel economy went! Strange how it didn't store any codes though? Il reset the ecu and see how i get on. Cheers guys
  15. Yes the rear and above the starter motor, I'm concerned why it was unplugged and what running affects this would have had?
  16. Best I can do right now, Lately Iv been checking for error codes but nothing was stored? God knows how long it's been unplugged?? What symptoms would it being unplugged cause?
  17. At the rear of the intake manifold below the runners is a sensor in the block. What is it for? I just came across a blue plug that was disconnected and it seems to fit! Only discovered it because my afr's are showing it running rich and I can smell fuel apart from that the cars been running great!
  18. Stock apart from the damper bypass pipe, it doesn't smell all the time only when I drop my mate off and he opens the passenger door, if I leave it idling and get out I can't smell anything! Il double and triple check the fittings around the fuel filter for peace of mind!
  19. Can anyone tell me which port on the charcoal canister the vac hose and fuel tank hose goes too?
  20. Sorry when I say blanked I mean a bolt jammed down a pipe plus I'm sick of having boxes and bags full of parts lying all over the house and don't actually see why I removed it in the first place???
  21. At the mo it's capped at the hose coming from the fuel tank and I don't currently have a vac source because Iv deleted the vac canister and gone TT intake manifold so il need to T off from somewhere. The picture I posted above is just where I put it in place but quickly realised I wasn't sure if it mattered which way round they go?
  22. That's my problem David I'm trying to fit it back in, I get a whiff of fuel every time I stop to let a passenger out so wanted to see what it's like with it back in but wasn't sure where to put the vac hose and where to put the hose from the tank?
  23. Guys I have that one it's for the other mounting point, I'd imagine it to be like an L bracket?? I can't find any pictures of one though so I'm not 100%
