  1. Yes the 330's are stock NA injectors, I'm struggling to cope without my car so if it's safe enough to drive like that I might swap out the injectors and just cruise around off boost? That being said the 330's have not seen fuel in a long time so there's no saying they will be any good?
  2. That's correct mate I removed the patch extension and emu just to see if it would spark, (king lead disconnected) since I'd replaced everything else to do with the ignition side and had no luck it was the only thing left to check! Iv been lucky to cross paths with lyndon (Nodalmighty) and he's very kindly offered to take a look at the emu for me so il be dropping it off with him tomorrow, if it is screwed then I have 3 options 1 - strip for parts and move away from supra's for a while 2 - find another emu 3 - look for a alternative ecu maybe standalone (this being the most expensive root which I'm not sure I would like to commit too) Out of curiosity if I was to put the 330 injectors back in would I be able to use the car daily but off boost or would this be a bad idea? So stock compression, injectors and ecu. But turbo'd and TT manifold
  3. Problem is I have 550 injectors in so wouldn't be able to drive the car anywhere with just the stock ecu. I'm leaning towards the emu being shot too! But don't know anyone who can test them and nobody's going to borrow me one to try! Might see if Nodalmighty can download the map for me?
  4. Clutching a straws now so changed the jp8 setting to 2-3 and re-soldered the ignition control wires but I'm still not getting a spark! Anyone experienced faults with the e-manage ultimate or has any advise on which wires control spark?
  5. Not to worry chris I'm just gratefull of all the help! I now have an endless supply of igniters, coils and ecu's Am I right in thinking the NA ignition system is 12v and if so would this be the reason why it's not sparking because I have the emu Jp8 set as 8v? (Iv had it set like this since day1 though)
  6. I said I'd gave up but couldn't resist having one last check and kind of stumbled across something. I decided to remove the emu and patch extension harness and just see if I was getting a spark with it running off the stock ecu, result nice strong spark coming from the king lead so I must be something to do with the e-manage ultimate or harness but checking the emu Jumper settings I have jp8 set to 1-2 I believe this to be ignition 8v but reading an old thread it should be 12v (2-3) is this correct?
  7. Can any confirm jp8 is correct Iv read it should be 2-3 (12v ignition)
  8. Can someone confirm if jp8 setting is the same for NA too please, my na-t has been set on 1-2 for a long time now and I'm only checking it now because Iv developed a non starter! Iv narrowed it down to either the patch extension or emu now as I get spark to the coil with it out of the equation.
  9. Well I give up!! After swapping 3 igniters 3 coils 2 ecu's and a distributor I'm still getting no spark from the coil so im throwing in the towel and handing it over to a auto electrician! Il post up his results
  10. I can't get it fired to test bud and it was all ok before it went tits up.
  11. Thanks Chris and rob, great club spirit! Seems like an easy enough job todo so il be tackling this at the latest Friday, fingers crossed
  12. Thanks Chris distributor is the only thing I haven't checked or swapped now so I pray your right! I might try and get a third igniter to try too since I can do that myself. Regards to the distributor would it be safe to install myself just to see if it starts and doesn't cut out then get someone out to set the timing?
  13. Well had 2mins this morning and checked ohms, both igt and igf wires showing 0.5/6 from ecu loom end to igniter plug end. time to beg borrow steal a third igniter and distributor
  14. Oh right, I'm Far from an expert when it comes to multimeters. il give it ago in the morning! Thanks
  15. Well I swapped out the ecu today and it still won't fire!! There's only the distributor that hasn't been changed now! So auto electrician will be getting a call tomorrow I just hope he is equipped with a scope? I checked the timing but need someone to confirm its ok as I have no idea! When camshaft marks are lined up with timing cover marks the crank lines up with 0 is this right?
  16. Thread revival... what should I be seeing on the crank pulley when camshafts are lined up with the marks on the timing cover?mines @ 0 My NA-T won't start and Iv checked 90% of the ignition side so just wanted to rule it out? Thanks
  17. Sorry that's what I meant, the dizzy cap is brand new, the distributor will be the last thing I change once it's been checked out with a scope. It could be a break in the wire but Iv done a beep test on every pin on my patch extension and on the IGF and IGT wires? Il double and triple check tomorrow!! I have bilstein suspension but Im fairly sure its ok, I think you was on the money with the igf signal but I'm getting 4.9v with ignition on and cranking?
  18. That's very good of you mate but I already have 2 of everything. the coils are within spec, the distributor, king lead and rotor arm is brand new and the igniters although I can't test surely both can't be faulty. one of them is from a 60k car I got off Keron! I have another ecu on its way to me too! If this doesn't cure the problem Im handing it over to a auto electician to figure it out!
  19. Been out to test the IGT and IGF signal using a multimeter until I can get someone out with a oscilloscope (which won't be until next week now) IGT - 1.3v when cranking (should be 0.5-1.0) IGF - 4.9v with ignition on and stays 4.9v while cranking Going from the tsrm the IGT is not within spec and suggests to try another ecu. If that's the case it will be the second Ecu within the last 6months so something's not right? Il update when I receive my spare ecu
  20. Thanks is there any basic tests I can do myself in regards to the igf feed
  21. Thanks Chris il be in touch soon if does need one?
  22. Cheers guys I checked with my local garage and they don't have a scope to check the dizzy out either that or they just don't want to do it! So Iv got a number for a auto electician hopefully he will have one? Another Fuel pump ecu has also been tried that as well as putting a constant 12v to it. No joy
  23. Think this is only on the TT mines na-t Rotor arm was changed a month or 2 before.
  24. Me again.. I can't seem to get to the bottom of this, Iv checked the loom for shorts but seemed to check out ok, even replaced parts to do with ignition, like: Plugs Leads King lead Distributor cap Coil Igniter Ecu will be getting replaced when it arrives. What else could it possibly be? The car starts up as normal but then less than a minute later will just switch off like Iv turned the key, this then shows code14 When it first started cutting out I found this but replacing these bits didn't fix the problem. The only work carried out before the issues was the water pump and cambelt? Any sparkys local to sale / manchester want to come and fix my car
  25. Daniel where did you buy one from in the end? I'm thinking of giving this one a shot: http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=291052925472 has anyone else used them?
