Keeping things sensible, it is nigh 600 quid for new units, I keep polishing to get rid of the yellow. It's worth polishing clean, couple of coats of UV to keep it good, save for new. On receiving new, get the UV lacquer on asap. There are great products out there.

Do it right don't ruin your car. That's what I do. Slowly. I don't like having to put cats back for MOT, don't need both so one sports job will do it. All legal no probs.

Scott M did the tips. I'm sh!te at bodywork, but this worked and I have no fear now. It's always worth a go.

Get 'em clean but then laquer them with UV laquer and polish and finish. I'll be trying all this and returning results. I've been doing hectic jspecs and yellow for a couple of years. Just keeping on top of so to speak.

The cats have been replaced with straight through pipes for possible bpu. Try Keron, extreme performance trader here, who breaks Supras. Hell most probably have a cat. Does your car have a boost gauge? You need to know if it was bpu'd properly or you could be in trouble turbo wise. Removing the cats will allow the turbos to spin way over the top and they'll break. You should look for a restrictor ring in your exhaust pipe more than likely where the 2nd cat pipe was.
