I know GZ pre facelift cars do not have remote headlight adjustment, so no switch. Neither have I seen anything mentioned about it. All in all I reckon carried out a classy mod and will need to install a new switch.

686th was my freakily lucky best. Trying to do the Jap race in TT5 and I'm consistently 15 secs off the pace. I loaded the top guys ghost lap and it is so so quick.

Don't even know if it's possible mate. Could your sat nav be wrong? Any chancew of borrowing one to compare the results before you go down the recal road?

My bad read that the wrong way round. It should be the speedo reading higher. Pretty sure your tyre sizes give the correct rolling radius though. I checked it out for just this reason when I got 18's fitted.

Sounds right. I have those sizes and my speedo and sat nav balance at 80 mph. Speedos normally read higher than actual rate in my experience.

Insurance has gone up across the board Trev. Seems the companies are struggling to cope with the claims payouts these days. No win no fee type stuff and the price of repairs to the super safe cars on the roads etc.

Think Heckler got my dash out in about 10 mins. Just don't force anything it really does clip out easily.

Indeed. I just disconnect the battery and months later reconnect and it starts first time. Pretty darn good in my book.

Not quite J Spec then. Lovely set of Kads on fleabay for 1500 earlier, I was tempted but they were 6 pot front and back and I wondered about the bias. Brake upgrades aren't bleedin' cheap are they?. Who the heck thought of putting small brakes on a 1.5 ton car because the speed was restricted? I could throttle that individual.

I believe the brakes are set to be a progressive feel, so a little pressure gets a little speed off and tramping on 'em gets the job done properly. I have all of those mods, fitted by professionals, and was equally underwhelmed by the difference in feel compared to say a brand new hire Mondeo say., but the performance has gone up. It just doesn't shout out "I'm better".

Somehow that spoiler is working with your car. Not often will you see that written about VS. It may be the colour coded Trial rear but it doesn't look overpowering as usual. Welcome to the club Danny.

Google Aeroblade for the wipers mate. The badges are tricky, involving a heat gun / hair drier and slowly easing them off with a credit card or similar. Search the Liquidart threads.

Just to add, because I know people worry. I did. No standard components are taken away. So if in the alternate universe Si's conversion didn't work. it's a 20 minute job to change everything back to normal, removing the new gear, changing the connections back ala plug and play. Your car is not gonna be off the road.

A nice touch here would be to have your speedo change colour at 70. I didn't think that through too well. You talk to Si and state exactly what you want.

Faultless professionalism from Simon and a perfect fit. He does know what he's doing. The chip that runs the unit can be programmed for other funky stuff too. Si's experimenting with that. He also changed my dodgy green heater lights and the auto shift light under the lever too. Just gotta get rid of the clock now. I think that'll go when I get it professionally BPU'd Si had to fit it all and some of it was trial, wire length was the problem, he just went out and lengthened everything to suit his needs, about 20 mins . Terrific. Gotta say my dash was unmarked and I like it that way. It stayed that way. Many thanks Si. Edit. Just to add 5000 rpm is license losing speed with od off so I hedged on the safe side.

That's the correct lights Stewart. Large lights are the main, high beams. Little outside lights are fogs.
