  1. Yes.... especially with yoooofs, who appear untouchable by anyone and have little or no respect for anything/one. Most people assume they will be stabbed for asking anyone under 25 for directions... Good on you though, its whats needed, a few people to tip the balance again - should have rubbed his nose in it

    Boris Johnson

The fact he won speaks wonders about how so many HATE red Ken with a passion.... Interesting to see how he does, i don think he will aggrivate quite so many people.
  3. Much as i dont agree with it, its hardly been sneaky, they announced it over a year ago! Its a stupid amount of money taxing a car by its engine size - ROAD TAX is supposed to go on roads, having a bigger engine probably means you use the road less... but hey! Money grabbing gibbons.
  4. The first party that stops throwing money at every problem, adopt an immigration system on a par to AUS/NZ and realize that bumping up fuel costs just cripples people, doesn't change their habits, will get in and stay in until people get bored and fancy a change. It cant be THAT hard surly?! Common sense id say. Can we start a 10 downstreet poll "we, the British people, have had enough...."
  5. I dunno, depends on how much they are
  6. Yes, Gerry only has his first name on his What you give is what you get i'd imagine:cool:
  7. Ow' bigs the import size one Gerry?
  8. Two landrovers... First one, my much loved 110, put it through a brand new 523 writing it off and spreading it across a cross roads in Loughborough. I drove the landy home with some scratches, bimmer was dragged backwards onto a lorry .... Second one was a friends one, which had a nasty altercation with a tree whilst off roading Yet to crash anything capable of over 100mph *touch wood*
  9. Ive done my bit.... plate place has all the bits n bobs they needed from me Should be all systems go pretty soon

    longleat Zoo?

What really didnt help with the whole monkey/car dismantling thing... was foot n mouth. During the outbreak the longleat staff gave the monkeys a car to play with - as the safari was closed, so no public to harass. As with all things, if you practice you beome quite efficient at stuff There is also a few conspiricy theorists who think the monkeys are secretly planning an escape, and gradually building a car to help them on their way... so it depends on what car you have and if they need a bit.

    longleat Zoo?

Its good fun, the only dodgy bit is the monkeys, which you can bypass if you wish. I took the supra through though I assessed what bits they could rip off and couldnt really find any... they avoided my car like the plauge, must have been the noise/shineyness... i think one crawled up into the empty bit in the front bumper(opposite side to the IC), but soon moved when the car started moving. They were more interested in the Volvo with a roof box next to me... they had great fun ripping the stickers off it! They seem attracted to cars with bits to swing off, i took my landy through years ago... and was swarmed by them - woohoo climbing frame!
  12. Explain.... how do you use HDR in photos? I use it quite a bit in 3D scenes to provide realistic lighting - same theory with phots?
  13. Thats quite freaky.... ive honestly never seen that club/logo before I copied the idea off the old max gt logo that was around a while ago.

    dvd backups

If you wanted to do such things in the name of being prudent.... ANYDVD (from slysoft) - cuts through the most modern of encryption, you have to spend £20 oodd quid on it, but you get free updates, they come out with new stuff once a week. DVD shrink - freeware, squashes 8gb dvd to 4gb, so you can pop it on a normal dvd. DVD decryptor -free again, burns iso to dvd. Can rip dvds as well if the encryptions older.
  15. Novatech do indeed do some good "kits", its how i build my desktop 2 years ago, and its still going strong They come with some simple to follow instructions and a big pin out picture of the board, telling you in simple terms where everything is located. Onc eyou have the bits, its like a lego set
  16. BANG Depends on your chassis code/engine number, some do, some dont.... mine does
  17. Its very simple.... NEW TAX LAWS DONT AFFECT SUPRAS - they are too long in the tooth. Its only cars after 02 that are affected. For us its £185 this year, £190 next. Still aggrivates my work mate who pays £220 for her 02 reg mini
  18. How much do you want with postage - at least if i buy one i wont have this nightmare again next year!!!
  19. Norton 360 - its a big old bruit of a piece of software, but runs well enough. I know people hate Norton, but its the only bits of software ive used that hasnt resulted in a virus getting through.
  20. Ill watch this with interest. Ive done a few OScommerce installs, never touched Joomla, infact i only heard of its existance last week As far as OSC is concerned its nice and easy to use - im still a relative beginner with E-commerce but you can taylor it quite well with the wealth of mods available.
  21. How much is that CAT in the window? What have you done so it wont fit? UK's?
  22. These things to proper spanner monkeys are the same as a Guchi bag to a woman Ridiculously over priced but a must have.... Plus if its houseing the tools of your trade, its an investment that will last a life time, if you work for 30 years its only £66.6 a year
