See... MKIV supra forum... most informative place on the web. I took my laptop to work with me today so i could update my phone over lunch, and have been scouring the web trying to find out how the hell to get 3.0. Would it be so hard for apple to stick a note on their website... im sure they have someone in their company capable of such things!! Waits 3 mins...
  8. They need to come back and live with the rest of us on planet earth... they already get paid inordinate amounts of money for driving a tube, hardly the most skilled and taxing job. Demanding a payrise and safety against compulsary redundency, when most of the country is going through pay cuts, short term working and redundency is simply greed and shows they have no idea. Unions will be the death of most UK jobs - its already been seen in manufacturing where unions have pushed wages up so high its just not cost effective to manufacture in this country. Worlds gone bloody mad!
  9. What he said, having done a bit of loking about there doesnt seem to be anything that will make me want to pay about £200 to upgrade to the S any time soon The new OS will cover most of the bad bits of the current phone, i dont find any problems with speed (if i want to sit and surf the net i have a laptop for that, the iphones pleanty good enough as a back up) Cameras a piddly 1mp bigger... while Sony are doing 8.something's. All in all a bit of a let down
  10. I'm convinced Another bit of useless tat coming out of the engine bay this weekend
  11. Used to take the BOV's off of 200sx's all the time - never caused any damage to any of them, most running a bar'o'boost. Can't see why the supra would be wildly different or any more fragile (unless your running silly boost) Might give it a whirl on mine as i get some flutter with it in place due to my intake, so it might be quite entertaining!!
  12. Thats a bucket load of processors!! Do you have a 4GB graphics card like i do though
  13. Im posting your broken one back on monday... so you'll have one by tues/wed.
  14. At the end of the day, i have to put my hand up and admit i bought it for the bling factor mainly... Although on warmer days i'm conviced it offers better air cooling than the SMIC, which you could really feel being sapped in comparison to cold days. My SMIC was in servicable condition, but having had a SMIC on my sx blow the end tank off on a motorway i wasn't keen on that happenening again either! So i know this is nice and solid - especially with the decent clamps they provide. This is what i constructed for the intake: (as the standard AB doesnt fit with the IC pipe in the way: The filter and 45 degree shiny pipe are from ebay (2fast2cool) and the connectors and clamps are from jperformance (who supply the FMIC) Heat shield was made by me from an old bit of ally
  15. They are quite shiney, not mirror finish like stainless though. Stuff removed: AC fan Rad bottle Stock air box
  16. I have that very kit I bought it as a bit of a risk... but am very very pleased with the quality of it. I've since got a few more bits through that company, they are based in Ireland, always very helpfull and gave me trade price on the other bits The one thing the FMIC lacks compared to the like of HKS/Greddy are the "other" bits tha go with it, you dont get any brackets, replacement water res etc. Having said that they wernt too hard to build/borrow/steal, took me a day and a bit to fit it. The quality of the actual IC is great, seems really well put together, the pipes are ally, which means they will probably look shabby after a while, you could coat them in something first if this worrys you. the connectors and clamps - considering the cost of the kit, are awesom! The silicon hoses are on a par with samco, and the clamps are the same style as mikalor (which i liked so much i bought a load more off of them for my intake pipework!) To summarise - if you dont mind a bit of fabricating of brackets and fiddling about, get it bought
  17. Standard Red jap bonnet, bought from supradibbs a while ago with a view of spraying it silver and replacing my GRP bonnet, but ive managed to get teh GRP into a state im happy with - so i dont need this cluttering up my flat! Has a few stone chips, one of which is quite big (for a stone chip) can get pictures if anyones interested. Open to sensible offers, pick up only as i dont own enough cardboard to cover it with...
  18. Crawley Tesco closes at 10:30 saturday, opens sunday morning closes 4:30 again... Petrol station is open all the time though - so it cant be law surly? ALthough B&Q etc do the same, so possibly done on type of business.
  19. I was there, but up on quarry corner as i didnt think i was going untill abotu a week ago, and was lucky enough to be given a space on a mates stand MKIV stand looked good, almost rivaling the scoobs in numbers Well done to all!
  20. I found a good web based converter - sadly i cant remember what it was so this is as much use as a chocolate fireguard Getting them on to the phone was infact the hardest part! Required some faffing about.
  21. Can somsone with oen post up a good "from above" picture of their bonnet holes? I'm quite interested in hacking away at my spare bonnet now
  22. lack of load on your indicators due to the bulbs - i think. The whole system is regulated by the load, which is why if one bulb goes it tends to flash manically.
  23. TomTom on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&Item=270379585485&Category=156955&_trkparms=algo%3DLVI%26its%3DI%26otn%3D2 I know the company selling it (i do work for them occationally) and they are trust worthy - seem to be very well priced as well.
  24. i have an OK ish gun, its not a gravity fed one though, which appears to be the prefered! I do have an old sx bonnet kicking about as well that i could practice on Ill give it a go....
