Government dont seem to realise fuel costs have a direct affect on inflation. Pretty much everything we buy/use in our daily lives relys on fuel at some point, be it power for production or petrol for delivery.
Fuels gone up about 20p in the last year (say 25% increase)
Electricity/gas went up 15% last month, let alone the rest of the year,
Foods on the increase,
Houseing markets just stupid.
And inflations running at 2.something % - yeah course it is!
The UK is a sleeping giant, as a nation we take far too much on the chin with our stiff upper lips, but theres only so long you can kick a dog before even the most dosile ones bite back!
Making this country a better place is not done by jacking the price of everything up, thats how we got here in the first place! Its done by beating teenages in hoodies and getting our priorities right.
Token efforts to reduce CO2 emmisions - are not worth it when people in developed countries start starving because they cant afford food, or to heat their houses anymore.
Please, an ounce of common sense from the government, just for a day!
