  1. I've got a triple, the doubles are fairly common
  2. Yeah but you need to add the big massive charger into that equation
  3. Pfft, try servicing an Allison. I'll be amazed if it doesn't break every 20 miles
  4. The first one failed him not so long ago. Chin up mate, just having a bad run of things with her at the mo
  5. I recently installed the camshafts in my head and noticed that the N/A instructions vary from the TT. With the N/A it says to rotate the cams 120 degrees before loosening and re-tightening certain caps. With the TT they are just installed straight without any of this re-torquing. What is the reasoning behind this? I'm pretty sure Toyota wouldn't have missed out this step for no reason so really just looking for some insight as to why they vary ever so slightly. Thanks

    supra bov ??

Of course they are, every vent to atmos BOV sounds different
  7. I remember that car. Pretty sure the conversion was done years ago. I can't see the video in work so it might be a different one. Unfortunately the merlin was before my time in RR. Must be a few thousand HP though surely?
  8. I would try a new battery and maybe even think about refurbisihing the starter

No bud, needed a reminder yesterday to look I'll try to remember and check today. Ive got the memory of a goldfish.
  10. Yeah, I also have a facelift car with the facelift indicators/sidelights so I didn't need them anyway
  11. They definitely aren't glass... they don't exist There will be differences in the mounting I would guess. Not 100% sure to be honest. You could give it a go but it'll be expensive to get a set of facelifts just to try it
  12. Exactly. The only thing I don't know is if the facelift US spec lights are glass or not.
  13. I doubt it will be as simple as just switching over the internals as they are quite a bit different. The facelifts don't have a sidelight for a start. The easiest option is to facelift your glass headlights by spraying the innards while masking up the rings. The only difference is you won't have a ring on the main beam so you will only have 2 rings rather than 3. They come up fine though... http://www.mkivsuprastar.com/Supra/Glass%20Angel%20Eyes/DSCF1905.JPG http://www.mkivsuprastar.com/Supra/Glass%20Angel%20Eyes/DSCF1907.JPG

    Boom!

Biscuits..... this is a crumby thread.
  15. Of all the things I agree with, I will always disagree here. I had a mines ecu and a strange boost issue that meant 1.0 to 1.1 boost from the first turbo and my car was noticeably stronger than any bpu I have driven. this includes my own when running normal boost on the first. The difference was unreal imo.
  16. Confused and all those other sites are hopeless for getting real quotes on Supras. Check with LWIB, Sky, Adrian Flux, A-Plan, the usuals and see what they give you. Shouldn't be too bad at 24

Will do, send me a PM on Sunday morning for me to go and check. I'm out all day & night tomorrow. I think I know where it is so it should just be a case of putting my hand on it.

I think I have one, well I do have one... I just don't know how easy it'll be to put my hands on. Wouldn't be able to ship it out to you till Monday though.
  19. In Marcs defence we don't know what any of the plans are, nevermind all of them What are your ideas? Look forward to updates
  20. Well done mate, fully deserved
  21. Oh, Edinburgh Airport is about 45 mins away from me on a good day
  22. He is Glaswegian though.... South Lanarkshire isn't Edinburger.... it's East Lothian. I reckon he's meeting him in Edinburgh so that there are less witnesses who know him
