  1. Totally illegal, blinding and MOT fail due to not being projector lenses. The light just goes in all directions with no restriction.
  2. Depends on the pressure plate bud. It will probably be a little heavier than stock though.
  3. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/search.php?searchid=480242 A quick search brings up 8 threads this month alone.
  4. Are you after peoples insurance quotes from today? There was an insurance thread last week bud, in fact I think there might even have been 3 on the go.

    hi

Doesn't make any difference. The MAF is only a problem when using a stock ECU, for 700hp you will be getting a standalone. Getting a VVTi may cost a little more due to added bits and bobs but it will be a newer car in the long run.
  6. I haven't seen it on the Supra, so I could be wrong, but I've seen it on plenty of other cars. The first time I seen it was on my own car and I got a bit of a shock thinking that my car was about to explode, dump fuel, dump oil and light on fire. I was 18 and it was my first car though
  7. That's certainly not the case in my experience. I've always seen full on christmas tree
  8. Ebay, they are about £140 and a direct fit
  9. Sounds like the alternator has gave up the ghost bud. You always get the christmas tree effect when the alternator isn't charging. Fire up the car and put a voltmeter across the terminals to see what it's reading. You should be seeing around 13-14v.
  10. I personally couldn't do it for an M12, M15 maybe though
  11. He's after an exhaust bud... as in the part after the mid pipe
  12. Are Tilton clutches carbon? I think it's accepted that these are the best? RPS twin didn't slip with JP and he gave it hell. Granted he's having issues now but at near 1300hp it's no wonder
  13. Best place to ask would be Supraforums. From what I have gathered the clutch pedal is a fair bit heavier and those clutches aren't great on the street... a little grabby etc. The 4 plates are really for all out racing rather than pootering about. If I were in your shoes I would be going with the twin plate RPS as it's the best of both worlds... although that would be C/C which you don't want.
  14. The trouble is going to be getting the rear shims out though, you would need to be my height with a spine of titanium to pull it off with minimal fuss. I'm not sure bud. There will be a schedule from Toyota though. I personally have never checked the clearance, the only reason I re-shimmed the head was to get the best out of the cams and to make sure I wasn't taking any risks. To be honest the best bet would be to do this job when you are changing the timing belt. The belt is off anyway so the job is relatively straight forward from there... as above.
  15. It is possible but it looks like a footery nightmare. It might be OK if the head was on the bench but in place on the car I honestly wouldn't fancy it.
  16. Officially they only cover you for 1 or 2 years (I think it depends where you buy). Unofficially the EU covers you under the Electronic Consumer Rights legislation..... or something like that. As long as you phone them up armed with that information and ready to argue your case, as Simon was, you will win Edit: As Si says
  17. When mine does it, it won't reset until I turn the ignition off. It's only when it's pulled slightly that the light comes on, as soon as I reset the ignition it turns off. I've not had the same fault that you do where it goes on and off during the 1 ignition cycle.
  18. That's what's known as bending over and taking it
  19. Ahh, that makes more sense then £140 actually isn't as bad as I thought it would be considering.
  20. What suspension are you running? I've seen a few shocks making noise over the years.
  21. There are a couple of couriers that will ship for around half that. check out parcel2go
