  1. Just seen this, not good! Hopefully if they find him guilty it will be a 10 place drop and not points. I have to agree it did seem a bit over the top expecially with Alonso as he went for it and then decided against it. Even still the rules state that when the safety car goes in the lead car takes over, so really everyone should be following Hamilton. But then again the safty car does not duck and dive about and slam the brakes on. He has won a few this year now!
  2. Thats two of us then, big hill Oh and I need to make sure I leave my wallet at home!
  3. im sure Kate would agree with you Vicky but lets hope they choose some tasty women too.
  4. No TV this time gaz? surely radio 5 would ruin it. Mind you we can all be in the bar on Sunday afternoon as somethings bound to break
  5. Take it your not working then? If you can call standing and chatting to Gaz all day working.
  6. Will be disapointed if you dont turn up pete! mind you whats the difference, Santapod/Pancake run

  8. wow that is some serious bits of metal that have failed!
  9. Just bought an old tosh off ebay with a true com port on the back for work when configuring switches - £40 bargin and it works
  10. Sorry to here this, isnt it amazing how many firms forget about the health and saftey aspects when people start. Lifting heavy servers most weeks and both companies I have worked for have never bothered with health and saftey or manual lifting issues! Bet there are loads of people out there that don't get put through health and safety training.
  11. Depends how big your wallet is!?
  12. Can't park, cant follow a map there is a theme developing here
  13. FPR - Fuel Presure Regulator Title says it all really, but its where people tend to plumb in boost gauges and boost controller source feeds as recommended by some of the manufacturers. TPS - I think is throtle position sensor??
  14. Gutted for ya mate. Is it really that easy? or would it have to be run for a short period after it poped off. Ill be tie wrapping all the fuel presure lines tomorrow!
  15. You do know that bidding on ebay forms a formal contract between you and the seller dont you!
  16. 1. Gaz 2. Animal. 3. Hoff??? 4. Big Ads 5. M5W TT & Mrs
  17. yep 100% need the geo doing afterwards even more so if planning on lowering the car. ive just changed the lower rear arm bushes and its impossible to get the arm back in exactly the same place. Perhaps the TT is different to the NA but from my experience a spring compressor would have made the job easier (not that its too difficult to start with). Agree with the caliper though, makes it much easier.
  18. Think it depends what you are changing it with! I put tein coilovers on my NA with my dad and it only took a few hours. Would also advide to swap out the rear bushes on the lower arm, its made such a difference on my car. Most useful tool ever though would have been a spring comressor!
  19. That was quick, I will PM you the details Rosie Cheers
  20. Would agree with the above, seems well recommended and the person who fits it is key to its performance in my opinion! Ive had some cliffords badly fitted in the past and they become a nightmare. False alerts etc.
  21. lol, Kate was hanging on for dear life over the hills following Ian Ian, Does this Ian Ian have the latest speed camera map installed?

Credit where its due guys. Got off to a bad start today but a few calls later and all faith was restored. Took the car back to TDI north this evening to leave it with them for tomorrow. The geo setup from last week had changed after a spirited run over the weekend. Works out the front subframe was very loose and this is why it had all changed. The guys stayed behind this evening to torque up the subframe and re-do the geo setup. Much appreciated, hopefully see you at Japshow.
