that was my initial thought on the subject (not me being retarded)i should have gone into a bit more detail. to set the scene....you are being tailgated and are approaching a junctoin/roundabout and instead of braking you drop down a gear or two. the guy behind you goes into the back of you and he complains that there was no notice of you slowing down i.e. brake lights. its to settle a dispute on another forum that im having and the other party is coming up with a lot of legal bumf to why it is illegal to carry out said action.

weirdly im having the same discussion over on another forum about drivers and cars. obviuosly the skill has to be there but also the car. until they are all driving identical cars we'l never know who is best driver on a skill basis.
