  1. LAST FEW HOURS ON EBAY!!!!! Got some more interest off-line now, but I'm not going to say anything as I don't want to jinx my luck!
  2. these are the amplified bases I was looking at getting: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Quality-Amplified-Car-Bee-Sting-Roof-Mount-Aerial-NEW_W0QQitemZ230289455701QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item230289455701&_trkparms=39%3A1%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A1%7C240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14 They also have a mast that could be used until the s2000 aerial is purchased. It's probably 2-2.5 times the length of the s2000, but it works.
  3. Burna - you do indeed have it right, I linked to the amp in a previous post (on ebay) I must admit, the prices that I had were far cheaper than getting them individually, but hey - it's what happens If Baz can make the extensions again, then perhaps getting him involved here instead of me...? My whole house/job/car/life situation is really eating up my time to do anything about this now - I'm gutted to say the least Sorry!
  4. yeh i know mate gutted as I thought I had this one in the bag and sorted. I'm still hoping to be able to supply the burna brackets and extension pieces - leaving you all to get the last 2 bits on your own. Will see how things go! Cheers for your support tho mate - GREATLY appreciated!
  5. yeh sorry folks, still not sure whats going on. Depending on circumstances, I might be able to do something about it this sunday, but will try and keep you posted.
  6. I know what you mean mate, and i appreciate your comments. But they can try all they like, I won't get screwed over.
  7. crap - even worse mate. House has been valued at 30k less than we paid for it a year ago tomorrow. We're tied in on a fixed mortgage, so early repayment fee's. Plus solicitors fees etc.... stand to lose around 45k between us. Not really an option.
  8. If I rent the house out, there is a whole load more £££ involved because I'd need to find somewhere to rent myself, and from what I've seen so far, they are all sh*t-tips and would cost me almost the same cost as it would for me to keep the mortgage myself. (I'd need to get an agency involved because my new job is going to push me quite hard I think) Plus I'd probably need to sell all furniture as I'd not want it wrecked by lodgers, but wouldn't be able to take it with me because it'd all be too big for me. Essentially, what I want to do, is to get the ex out and sorted, and get a lodger for the spare-room. I think I could do it that way and survive quite well. but there is no knowing until i'm there!
  9. yeh, I know mate. The house situation is just continually playing on both of our minds, and I'm sure she is eager to get her money and leave, especially seeing the house prices drop another 25% in the next year. I'm holding out as long as possible, but it's hard to figure out how to get people interested if nobody is viewing or talking serious £££.
  10. This is so depressing bttt!!!! I need to get another car soon, new job in 4 weeks time, and don't really want to be commuting in this beauty!
  11. Pabs

    recaro seats

Bride subframes from Paul Whiffin @ Whifbits - £260 ish all in (I think!) Recaro Speed Seats in a normal trim - £600 all in from Capital Seating. That's the prices I paid anyway, about 2 months ago.
  12. thanks for the tips mate. I'm still happy with auction style for now anyway. Doubt the car will sell on there anyway, just thought it's worth a shot.
  13. why's that? People don't bid on classifieds, so I don't know if there is any interest at all out there!?! By putting it on at auction, at least I can see what it gets to etc.
  14. cr*p - sorry to hear that mate. I'm due to be leaving my job soon, notice will be given in this week. I hope that I get in quickly and make myself useful, keep my head down. Don't want recession to c*ck things up for anyone! Good luck with the hunting etc.
  15. Unlucky mate - hope you get a sale soon. My car is back on ebay again - LOADS of people asking about the car, but I suspect they are all dreamers again. Might be worth sticking your car on ebay if you're still selling - but don't put it on yet as you'd create too much competition for my car! lol
  16. bttt - again on ebay early bids push the price up, but seems to tail off with no bids at the end. Maybe this time will be different?? lol
  17. Back on ebay again! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130252853011
  18. I NEVER got any statements from the SLC. Requested one recently, and now had 3 at once. They've got all the details wrong, and my loan is actually INCREASING year on year! According to their records, I've paid by £160 a year - when actually I'm paying about £100/month!!!!! They said not to worry, so long as I have my payslips to prove each payment..... hmmm...
  19. updated px list on first page - any sensible hatchback considered, so long as value is less than 4k.
  20. thanks mate. It's on PH and autotrader - already done 1 round of ebay at the beginning but kinda gave up on that idea as the cost vs amount of interest was not worthwhile. I've got to pay off my debts - and I need to find a lodger for the spare room, otherwise I'm 100% screwed.
  21. Guys/Gals, What can I do to get more people interested in my car? I think I'm now likely to be put between a rock and a hard place regarding finances, so need to sort it pronto really. Dropping the price hasn't really interested anyone, and I can't really afford to go cheaper anyway!
  22. 1. KarmaSupra Man 2. Glennk 3. Ivan 4. Sabrina 5. TRD DAN 6. Danny_silva 7. Ewen....if I'm not away on holiday 8. Pabs - possibly. 9. 10.
  23. I MIGHT be along to this one, but does depend on car situation
  24. Another day, another few dreamers! If you're not in the UK - make sure you understand the price is UK pounds £, so you can calculate the exchange rate before bothering to enquire
