    he's registered I believe, but possibly not posted. Apparently knows of CW and lives close, so I know the car will be treated well. Also a friend of a well known member on here, although unsure of said persons username.

    hi chaps, It went for "enough" money - that's the way I look at it. Money + part-ex of the hyundai, new owner has private plate to go on so he's going to sort that, pay the rest, then swap cars. It probably works out that less than my asking price, but TBH as said, it pays off the debts, keeps a roof over my head, and gives me something to get from a-b in for the time being.

    OK folks, drum role please: CAR NOW SOLD, PENDING PAYMENT! Deposit has been received by cheque, and will clear into my account to confirm sale of car. I've got a part-ex of a Hyundai coupe 1.6 coming my way, which will be my car for the forseeable future! A bit different to the supra to say the least, but it'll do! I'm sure the new owner will make himself known on here eventually! Top bloke, who I think will really look after the car the way it deserves.

    weather still looks good for tomorrow! Unfortunately I don't think I'll be there, as I have a potential buyer coming to look at my car, so I need to clean the car and be here as he's coming from quite a distance! You might be lucky and I might still be able to pop along tho!

    haha! Crikey - I'd run the draw myself, and make sure I win it back again - all debts paid off, AND the car! lol

    the amount of hassle involved to get something like that sorted would be unreal.. and it'd take ages to get 100 names, let alone 400 names! I've not had 1 person to come and view the car - loads of calls/emails or whatever, but nobody has been to see it in the flesh. I still think the first to SEE will buy... just getting that person through the door!

    The whole car situation is depressing me beyond believe, I tell ya. Dropping the price to try and get a sale, selling what is essentially my dream car Rather not think about it if at all possible! But alas, I really need the money now Last meet was my "last" meet - but I MAY be there sunday

    thanks mate, but unfortunately ANY supra is a no-go Issues purely on practicality - I cannot fit any of my band gear in the car, so cannot take this or any supra to gigs. I need a very cheap car that I can sling anywhere and chuck all sorts of stuff in it without worrying. Otherwise I'd be keeping this car!!!

    certainly is a CHEAP car!!!! If it's all as good as it sounds, the seller must either be absolutely nuts or desperate, but you got the bargain!

    I've given the highest bidder on ebay a chance to buy the car, he's not come back to me yet but a couple of other bidders have... so maybe they'll get it! Who knows...

    so basically, if it was a totally different car then - wicked, cheers! Aerotops are rare, and all aeros are auto's (unless 6-speed conversion completed) - someone will buy it!

    bless - cheers mate! I don't think I can let it go that cheap... I'm hoping they was closer to the reserve, but because nobody else bid up, it didn't show in the final price. £9k is the lowest I can let it go for now.... think the ex and I have worked out a plan that will work for both of us, so we know how much dosh we need. We'll see what happens!

    finished at £8,500. Have emailed highest bidder to find out how close he was. Reserve was £9000. So close! He's in france tho....

    just depressing how everyone loves it, yet nobody wants it! lol I don't think It'll sell on ebay - I recon it might hit 8k but I don't think it'll hit the reserve I've set.
