  1. same as mate - the ratchet has an allen key head - just easier to use - doesn't tighten it more.
  2. I've never had a problem with mine coming undone AT ALL. Once it's done up using the ratchet tool, to what I would call hand tight, that's the way it stays.
  3. sounds like the thread is stripped TBH - any slight force on it makes the screw slip out again.
  4. Glad that whenever we've had these meets in the past, I've always been there first so nobody can witness my driving/parking abilities.... LOL! Like a granny when it comes to parking, cos I'm not having some t*sser put a dent in the car!
  5. were they from your mum and dad??? lol
  6. yep - I went out in the car today briefly - roof down, chillout "chunes" on, absolutely loving it loving it loving it! Probably the last time I'll ever get to drive the supra now though, suspect it'll be sold this time next week Got a total of 3 thumbs from pedestrians/other drivers, all in the space of a 15 min drive!
  7. Sounds like at that price it'd be worth it for the parts alone! 6-speed box conversion for someone, TT for someone else.... then the rest can be broke and scrapped!
  8. i shall be investing my money in the wisest choice from above tonight me thinks..... starting the moment I leave work
  9. I've got custard creams. Or at least I DID have them. All gone now. Every single one!
  10. as Si said - needles and dials come off - new backing on, new dials on, back in car and needles back on.
  11. I say this to a lot of women, doesn't seem to give the desired effect though
  12. c-west light covers rock! Love em, and would love mine too if one wasn't cracked Lovely colour car, and as the majority - everything is great bar the rear bumper. Reminds me of a transformer for some reason! lol Good to be different though - if everyone had the same kits then we'd all be boring!
  13. Think I've seen this one about too, but never seems to ackowledge me in my supra if I'm in it.
  14. get a new speaker, see what happens
  15. Got the Technospeed Z1's on my supra, but in 19" form. Got front UK brakes on with no spacers - all fine. Rears have spacers though, but I think it is purely to bring the wheels out to fill the veilside overfenders
  16. I thought it had a 24-speed g'box with the number of changes they seem to make on the long straights...... similar to my mountain bike perhaps?
  17. Happy Birthday mate! Have a great day!
  18. What do people think of Flee from RHCP?
  19. yeh, just been reading that. Thanks for the tip. How can you tell if it is cracked? Would it make much noise? I checked the exhaust for leaks and couldn't hear any. Strut brace eh? May do! Is it easy to fit, or are holes needed to be drilled?
  20. erm, it's on a W plate (2000) if that means anything. Got the quad headlight type front end (not personally to my taste) but this is "just a car" to me - I'll look after it and stuff, but it's going to be a daily driver so nothing like my supra. 96,000 miles on the clock which is high, but it's the average 12k/year. Owned by the family from brand new. I just hope it's going to be a reliable motor
