  1. maybe you should specify "Sky Comedy" because some of us don't have that channel, and just spent 5 mins searching the sky menus! lol
  2. well I'll hopefully have an update this weekend/early next week. Situation is that my car has the one and only extension piece on it, as it was a prototype, so to speak. So I've got to get the car back so that we can slightly alter the prototype, and then get all measurements for more to be manufacturered. So long as this all goes well, I'll put up a GB thread for the extension and brackets.
  3. No good update I'm afraid. I'm really sorry, but I'm a bit stuck with regards to making a kit now. The piece I am missing is the actual aerial mast itself (the s2000 bit) - suppliers just can't deliver the quantity it seems. One option is for me to simply provide the extension pieces @ whatever price it costs, and do them with the "Burna Bracket" - that way all you'll need to source yourselves are the aerial amplifer (base) and the stubby aerial itself. Otherwise this GB may have to be cancelled :'(

    Hello

    Bonjour, Maxime
  5. once again I state - how rich do you think I am? I can't afford a shed, nor is the garden big enough for one! EDIT: Ok, perhaps the garden will fit a shed - but I'd have no room left to call it a garden - more like a small patio area big enough for a few people to stand on. lol
  6. How rich do you think I am Jamie, eh??? Couple of rooms? I'd be lucky if I had more than my room + a box room......
  7. I understand your comments mate - but as it turns out I now cannot really wait. The ex will be moving out of the house in 2 months time. I need car to be gone, so debts can all be paid off, so I can have a fighting chance to be able to keep the house on my own. I need to sell - I want to say I'm desperate - but I'm not THAT desperate to drop the price silly-low..... I just need the most chance I have of saving up for the inevitable £££'s to be thrown at the split-up. If I can essentially get the same overall cash figure by splitting the car up a bit, then I can't see why I shouldn't. Not everyone is a fan of bling under the bonnet it seems.
  8. Might start removing a few of the bling bits and easy-to-swap bits to reduce the price a bit further... If you want the car, but want it cheaper, we can discuss the removal of some bits to sort it out. I have original aerial, rear wiper, and a few other bits that could go back on.
  9. Get it - it's wicked. Not being able to afford the whole lot - I'm paying £17 / month - that's for Sky+, Broadband, and phone. It's the cheapest package they do, only has 2 "channel packages" but it's enough for me, with the recording facility, dvd's, and the box office - not anything else I would want (yet).... would like the sports channels but just can't justify the price! Go to the pub and socialise instead
  10. Will now also consider a part-ex on a cheap runabout - preferably something like a polo 1.4, or maybe a pug 306..... NO MOTORBIKES THO! I've been offered more bikes than cars now! Would love one, but a) I don't have my license and b) playing bass in a band means I need lots of luggage space for mixers/racks/bass cabs.
  11. oohh promising mate - hope it all goes well for you!
  12. bttt - few more overseas enquiries/calls but nothing else at the mo.

    GZ...I think

which part of that car is the trd bodykit????
  14. I wouldn't have thought so mate, it comes on when it's supposed to at start-up, and whenever the yellow light comes on, the red warning triangle in the middle of the dash comes on too, so it'd probably be coming from the sensor itself. At least that's the way I see it - if it was a dry joint on the dash light then the red triangle wouldn't come on as well, would it?
  15. PM me with info on the car and asking price, I'll need to see how much cash I'd get out of it. Cheers!

    GZ...I think

Well it sounds like you want an NA to me then, so lets hope its an NA engine
  17. Pabs

    GZ...I think

Sorry for seemingly being a little rude here, but why would you start a thread asking for info if you really didn't care whether it was an NA or TT? If you do care - (As already said above) - the price will probably give you a very good idea, or alternatively ask the seller!
  18. Pabs

    GZ...I think

well, the price might help to indicate otherwise. For reference, *most* GZ TT Aerotops are about £9,500+ at the moment - I'm selling mine at that price - and I've not seen any cheaper. So if it's majorly cheaper than that, it's either an SZ or a pile of poo! lol

    GZ...I think

    If it's a GZ, it's a TT.
  20. I've seen people mention disconnecting it, not sure I'd be happy doing that either. The dash warning lights would then not operate at all.... I'll have to take a look and see if I can see this sensor, another reason would be to ensure it is actually connected properly in the first place, in case that is causing the lights to flicker anyway!

    oil :(

    oh dear Unlucky mate!!!!
  22. A long shot perhaps, as I know these are crimped to the negative wire and near-on impossible to remove, but basically I want a battery clamp suitable for the negative terminal on my J-spec Supra. Current one is an aftermarket one, but it doesn't seem to fit the battery too well, and I had a bit of a shock tonight when it fell off while driving! Confused me for a minute, but managed to pull over and reconnect without a fuss. I'll try and pop to Halfrauds to find one probably at the weekend, but suspect these will be just as bad as the one I have. My battery is an Exide Deep Cycle battery - the OEM +ve terminal clamp fits fine so I would assume the -ve one should as well... Cheers
  23. Right folks, price won't be coming down anymore, so for those "hopeful" people waiting for me to do it for silly money - sorry! lol I've now figured a way to "delay" my required sale, so I'll keep the car as long as required for a sale at the right price, to the right person. In the meantime, I'm going to try to look after it and improve it where-ever possible - without spending big bucks on mods though! Might sell a few bits from it (bling stuff) and I'm going to save/work like crazy to pay off the loan without selling the car. The car is still up for sale if anyone is interested, but only at the right price now
  24. Hi Paul, Did you say you had the hose coupler in black that we spoke of? If so, let me know, and I'll paypal you across whatever money you thinks best! Cheers Paul
