  1. If we didn't constantly follow the mantra of low tax = good, we wouldn't have the issues either.
  2. BUT They were spending less proportionally than Thatcher/Major.... so it wasn't a record other than the fact that inflation always makes the absolute number higher.
  3. You're saying that like it's a bad thing, I think that's exactly why he's had so much support. The whole parliamentary system needs improving and here is someone who may actually look to make improvements given a chance.
  4. I think this is great, while I don't agree with all his policies and find some slightly worrying, his more direct (less spin doctor) approach can only be welcomed. I also think people are waking up to the fact that the current system is broken, so I think change may well become inevitable.
  5. If you just starting out I'd go for the celica see if track driving is for you first. I'd also be tempted to start with an NA supra as they bullet proof when starting out and reasonable power, especially if you are latterly thinking supra with power.
  6. looks good, with a solid history to
  7. yes my thoughts were, I'm never changing those again...
  8. depends if they value it accurately, when we moved the estate agent so over valued the part exchange (in a falling market) that made up our mind to move as opposed to just speculating about it. They had to keep dropping it circa 15% in total to shift it on again months after we had moved out.
  9. thanks for bumping, missed this first time '
  10. As it raining quite heavily, this is cancelled and will put up a new thread for next week instead.
  11. My reading on these is, useless in a motorway blowout situation. Also they make a lot of mess when the tyres come to be replaced so some may charge extra to fit new tyres. I have a can of this but never used in one car.
  12. Great, hope you get fixed in time would be good to see car. Still thinking we should do a meet west as well.
  13. nice video like the fact it shows a speed reading to.
  14. If my old man had given me an old mustang/charger/cuda/Camaro at 17yrs old you would be dog's danglies with glittery bits, same sort of time scale by then Supra's will be super rare and no-one will have seen F&F so will be more kudos as they won't know about the films as it was before 3D plasma super HD reflexive surround and hyper vision was the norm. Unless of course they spin it out until Vin Diesel is needing assistance to get into his wheelchair for a 50m sprint down the corridor when the pills come out.
  15. Yeah polishing only seems to last a few weeks before they start to discolour again. Getting a few more weeks out of them between polishes would be excellent.
  16. as per title, I couldn't find a good way to search for this as UV is too short.
  17. It's fairly subjective, do you trust the garage doing the new MOT? Have a look yourself. I've needed a subframe replacing before at one garage and fine at another before now. I've also bought an old bmw which clearly had a dodge MOT from the trader, so does happen but it was priced accordingly
  18. I consider this to but only with an NA the only problem with 2 kids I'll need to get another one in 15 yrs and that could be ruinously expensive.
  19. I've now updated this to present day. May add details I forgot latterly.
  20. Tim should set up a detailing business, car always looks immaculate.
  21. come on guys must be a few more supra owners in south east wales.
