  1. Yeah just a bit of a way everytime i want something done .
  2. The guy didn't know what he had, i'm pretty sure he priced it as an auto. He took a beating on the price too, between my bro checking it out over a month ago and me buying it he let slip that he hadn't had anyone look at it. The alloys, wing, colour put me off... but the price was just too tempting. Just hope the engine is in as good a condition as i think - there is no smoke out of the exhaust when i start up which i found suprising Will get it serviced as soon as i can find a good specialist garage. Cheers mate but i'll leave it till i get a veilside or TRD.
  3. Thanks guys live out in Sully, just needed servicing done, the 60k one. After realising yesterday that the MKIVSTORE.com was in Bristol i thought they'd probably be best. Heard mixed reports on hyeline, just checking really. Went to toyota today wouldn't trust them as far as i can throw them, but i thought it'd give me a good idea of price. They tried to make out they serived lots of UK supra's just not imports until I pointed out the number sold in the UK
  4. None of the speakers work except the back left one? Can't think of anything except taking off the dash (which seems a time consuming exercise) and checking they haven't unplugged anything from back of head unit, while they had dash off doing speedo conversion.
  5. Ah stock wheels do they get any better? Williams i wish, my speedy clio is the banger i've been driving for a year to afford the supra. The performance is blistering something like 0 - 60 in 14.6, top speed of 96mph down hill with a tail wind. I didn't notice much difference when i got behind the wheel of the supra
  6. I was thinking about using a certain company near a ferrari garage in penarth, if i hear some positive feed back about them. Or not if they're shabby. I need to get my Supra serviced, i live near Cardiff any good recommendations
  7. ah your right, didn't think to check that no metal connecters. Yet on the reverse of the lid on the sticker it states 2 are for ABS and 2 are for traction control? Any other ideas for lack of active monitoring? How else can you tell whether the traction control is on or off, besides flooring it?

    Welsh meet??

Finally got a supra, is there any meets planned? Has anyone used hyeline (penarth rd) for performance upgrades? and any good local bodyshops anyone can recomend?
  9. Yeah but the rear tyres width on the supra make the teg's tyres look well inadequate
  10. Tat it is then... Didn't like it at first but it's growing on me. Other than that the car is completely stock. That won't be for long though Integrea hits 60 in just over 6 seconds and thats stock. Not a huge difference until the higher speeds. Never going to drive the car in the wet if i can avoid it, drive my beasty clio instead.
  11. yeah crap garage unfortunatley i'm in Cardiff, garage is in Manchester. The speakers did all work on the test drive. i'm wondering if they've cut something? It is an aftermarket unless they came with pioneer as standard?
  12. After what seems like ages of saving and waiting finally found and bought Supra Manual TT Having driven my bros integra i didn't think it'd be that much faster. How wrong was I the acceleration is awesome. I wondered if anyone knows what spoiler it is, or just some cheap universal tat? What has everyone with imports done about the stereo not having a faceoff? I can see a break-in waiting to happen with the goodies on display?
  13. Just bought Supra, Great. On the test drive all these features worked fine. Since then guy has put CAT 1 in, de limited, changed KM to mph and put rear fog light on. The garage has also managed to 1. Take the traction control display off the dash. So i can't tell if it is on or off it lights when i turn on the ignition but then nothing. Looked under bonnet am i missing something? and what is it? 2. Only my back left speaker now works??? changed all fade settings on stereo, still nothing but that one speaker, definatley worked on test drive. Not use black wires exclusivley for my CAT 1, bloody cowboys, i'm sure this is a CAT 1 requirement. They've run a blue wire not even tacked down to the bonnet sensor. Any help would be awesome, common faults? ideas? Seems like wire snipping to me but not sure where best to check for the feeds.
