I had a go in a decatted one of these the other day (aprox 200bhp) and was really impressed, acceleration seemed very strong and felt like a really quick car with the added bonus of RWD fun. I think my mate picked it up for about £800 as well and it was pretty much mint. Might be worth a trip over to http://www.sxoc.co.uk for more info.

I had similar problems with my group of friends I used to hang out with the most. Occasionally they would back out on me and sometimes I would find I hadn't been invited to certain things. Looking back on it retrospectively they used to give me quite a lot of stick & rip the piss although I didn't really realise it at the time. Since then i've made a new group of real friends and have been a lot happier and just kept in touch with a couple of my (true) friends from my old group. I know how it feels and its a difficult decision to make but I know im a lot better off now. Hope that sorta helps mate

If you get the Halfords cover make sure you get the EXTRA large one because the large one (as I found out) is not big enough

Ouch. Although I feel sorry for the bloke, seems just a litle foolish that he wasn't wearing any protective gear. I don't know about you guys but I think a full face helmet would have been top of my list if I was going to attempt something like that.

I bought the blue halfords large one. (which doesn't fit) I was toying with getting the extra large one in the shop but the packet recommended it for people carriers etc! I doubt i will be able to take the large one back now as well because its out of packet etc

It might also be worth bearing in mind when making your decision that the insurance on a J-Spec (Jap import) will be more than that on a UK spec. Although with 3yrs NCB I would have thought it would still be viable if you're prepared for the cost. Oh and

Yup thats the ones. Be careful though because they are not all on the sign gantries with the orange backgrounds, there is a set southbound on posts and northbound after you have left the roadworks on posts. They still had black bags over some of the 'middle' parts of the cameras yesterday so hopefully not yet.

lol brightened up my evening

I did a tandem jump in Australia, near Brisbane from 14,000ft. I thought it was amazing, those first few seconds when you fall out of the plane were the best for me. It's something I would definatley do again.
