    j spec bulbs

YES both UK and Jap have H3 Fog Light Bulbs. It's the High and Dip which differ on Japs
  2. Had 100w in the HIGH Beam for yonks now, but not sure about using them in the 'Projector'-type (ie DIP and FOG) in case get the glass bits too hot ?? The 100w i got specifically say SAFE for use with plazzy lenses (UV filtered or some cr*p ???) ??????
  3. THAT's him ! ! (i think ?) i keep searching for willY not willIE, i'll try again Cheers TODDster
  4. SERIOUSLY THOUGH ? ? ? ? ? ? ? come on old codgers.....sorry.......Fellow Ancients !
  5. NO ! that's just my manly UPPER physique (GUT !) more sort of DOUBLE X elsewhere (yeah RIGHT !)
  6. Oh, i KNEW i couldn't just get a straight answer on here ! ! HAD to get all the jibes first
  7. DON'T ask me WHY ! ! ! but, anyone know what those old books/cartoons about the willy-with-his-own-mind/opinions were called ?? (he would voice objections to "GOING IN THERE" etc, you'd see his 'master' sunbathing then HIM sunbathing lower down ???) Been searching net/Amazon/eBay for "WILLY" and "LITTLE WILLY" etc but either they're not out there, or they were called something different ??? Come on you Old'uns/pervs/etc ! ! FatSteve.
  8. RWYB Sunday, but Heats/Dragsters etc Saturday (i fink ??)
  9. Sorry Chris, probably missed previous posts, but, WHY ??? [too lazy to 'search' ]
  10. AND, i'm not the worlds BEST 'maintain'-er, but, how do you maintain the Grab-Handle ?? Yes, you CAN spray the boot rubbers with lube/Rubber Stuff, but unless you did it from new. . . . (AND, never had any OTHER car which needed it done ???) Come to think of it, never had any problems with Dash bulbs on any other car either ???? i WILL say maybe the rough-ride and exhaust vibes (??) don't do the bulbs any favours though.
  11. 1 and 2 on the old TT AND the present N/A, 5, Gear Indicator lights on TT / 5, Heater/ A/C LEDs on the N/A + the Right Warning Cluster - the Solder Breaking ?? (went on TT AND on the N/A !) ?? Easily repaired though.
  12. SHUT IT . . . Rat-Fink ! ! !
  13. Even Carole knew THAT one ! ! ! (and... SHE's a WOMAN ! ! ! . . . . . . . . . )
  14. Playing Pooh-Sticks matie ? ??
  15. Whereabouts are you mate ? ? ? (possibly interested )
  16. BUT, a bike plate is the same size as a normal 'square-ish' CAR plate ! ! ! You mean a DODGY bike plate like the Silly-Boy Bandits and R1's have ? ? ? On me OLD TT i first trimmed down a 'legal' square plate, then, had a slimmer fairly illegal one that fitted the jap holder. Letters/numbers were still perfectly legible so never had any bother.
  17. Oh gawn Bob'..... .......PLEEEEEEEASE ! ! !
  18. That "Group JAE" pic is GREEEEEEAT. Love the way you all lined up the colours EVEN number of BLACK and SILVER huh ?? (shame all the pretty....MEDALLION..JAFFA...BANANA.....ones got side-lined;) ....only jokin' maties )
  19. Surely if an engine is 'conservatively' built to put out ~220 (ie. 100,000miles plus reliable) then it MUST be possible to tune it for ~300 ?? (albeit at the expense of longevity) Most 'standard' 3.0 engines put out ~200/220 now in RELIABLE tune. (Omegas/Mondeos etc etc ??) although i realise their figures are probably optimistic (and Flywheel ??) OR is the Soop unit an inherently poor (old?) design which can't be tuned ? (compression/cams/manifolds/timing) Isn't it JUST a question of money ????
  20. Mine used to come on if i " held the engine speed above 3,000 for more than ~8 seconds" it was one of the Speed Sensors . try keeping the revs below 3,000 for the first part of journey, then, on a reasonable straight, hold it at 3,500 for 10 seconds ?? (could be ANYTHING though....trivial...or SERIOUS so do find out !)

    bmw???

    d'ya mean YOU get the Soop and HE gets the CrapolaMobile ??? SHE drives our Soop to/from work and I drive the Supierra (i do 70/80 miles a day, she does 15/20...so petrol-wise makes sense . . . rattzatatzzen fraggin ragstabblers:protest: ) perhaps i should start a SIERRA hand-sign ?? . . ? ?
  22. Steve W

    bmw???

That's all very well, but, i haven't normally got time to stick a SUPRA sign on me hand ! ! ! ! seriously though, i normally see Soops along the A13 on the way home... ...when i'm in me Sierra:( They may not want to acknowledge me while i'm in the Slugera, but at least they'd know i'd spotted 'em (IF they know what it means... it IS fairly self-explanatory though... FOUR = 4 ?)
  23. as the Scottish Hotelier in Little Britain says:- " Maybe ah weel....and maybe ah wooont...diddle-doodly-doo " (alright...it should be flute-thing not a trumpet, i know ! !)

    asshole copper

Surely "hogging the middle lane" is Driving without due care... or something ?? 'cos you're not looking for when it's safe to RETURN to the nearside lane (OR looking in yer mirrors !!). There MUST be a law to cover it...WITH some appropriate points ! I ALWAYS cut the ba**ards up if they're s(h)itting in the middle....... I HATE IT WITH A VENGANCE The only time when i actually do it MYSELF is on the way down the A12 just after the Chelmsford exits where it goes to 3-lanes. The INSIDE lane is absolutley TERRIBLE now (seems to be WORSE after they did 'repairs to that whole section during the winter months ????) If i'm in the Soop i DO go in the middle lane regardless 'cos otherwise i'm shaking all over the place. HOWEVER, if ANYONE comes up behind me i STILL get over to the nearside as quick as i can (and then just suffer) If i'm in the Sierra the rough road doesn't matter, so stick inside anyhow (well, the Sierra spends a tad more time in the SLOWlane anyways:( )
  25. TA mate ! ! BA**ARD ! ! ! ( . . . . . but quite true )
