  1. Just kidding, there was no way I would have missed it. Was pressing refresh from 12:45
  2. Blast from the past Coming in a Supra? I assume you don't still have the purple abflug?
  3. Thanks, handbrake is working fine as have tested. Appreciate you taking the time to post though!
  4. Oh yeah - see if I can try not to nearly fall out the car at 170mph this year (can't find the video )
  5. Perhaps you can ask the club if someone can book for you? I am happy to book 2 when I get mine if you want and you can pay me back
  6. At least you get paid hansomly for all this grief Don't moan too much, we don't want to put JB off doing next year bearing in mind the HOURS he puts in all for the club and our benefit!
  7. Thanks all, really appreciate all the input. I will now look to replace the bearing. By the looks of this link, its not a job for home? http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?217396-Wheel-Bearing-Replacement Is it an easy job for most garages? Any reason not to go for a ECP bearing over a toyota?
  8. As those that know me are aware, I don't use the car very often so it is difficult to say when this noise started. I recently… approx 6 months/200 miles ago changed the brake disks all round and have noticed a strange clicking noise from the NSR. I had a mate who is a mechanic listened to the noise and I told him about replacing the disks. He suggested it was likely that the handbrake shoes were catching and that I should round off the leading edge. I got round to doing this today but it has not solved the problem - Please can you watch the video and let me know if you have heard a similar noise before. It only really does the noise when going forward and continues to make the noise with the handbrake on and the brake pedal being pushed. I cannot replicate the noise by manually turning the wheel. I also jacked the car up on the diff and let the wheels run and that also did not make the noise. I feel it can only be: 1. Brake related 2. Wheel bearing 3. Drive shaft Please ignore the squeaking as that is my clutch pedal. I know I can take it to a garage to sort but I don't have anyone local to me hence why I haven't already. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mznBlz0dqM8 P.S - How do you embed videos again?
  9. anyone know the short key to post on a mac? Please PM me if you do. Windows is alt S but not sure on mac
  10. I remember seeing the holes in the bottom of your car when that happened. I imagine it was something to do with the really really wide wheels you had…(as well as the way you drive )
  11. If this is a road car think twice about removing the A/C - When I was considering doing this a few yrs back I spoke to people that had done it and really regretted it!
  12. A light tint to the rear would look nice but the fronts normal look much better
  13. Good job you checked that! My 3G disks also began to crack but NOTHING like that - for that reason I wouldn't buy 3G again. Lots recommend stock disks and pads or CW fast road pads - I know how you drive, don't bother. You need CW race pads (if you can still get them) and a quality disk - I bought some with temp sensors on and they seem to be lasting. Let me know if you want me to dig out where I got them from.
  14. Def. the right decision mark. I have had screamer pipe with straight through exhausts and silenced exhausts and now have plumbed in with twin silencers. I would never go back to an open screamer pipe if I could avoid it. I am happy with the volume of my car and think it sounds ace on boost without being too offensive. The only downside of silencers is that its more difficult to make pops and bangs which I find fun.
