  1. Phew, for a minute there, I thought you were going to say it was her bum virginity.
  2. No chance, I once stuffed a small teddy bear up my exhaust, and it blew it across the car park when I started her up.
  3. You're gonna draw a blank here, unless the Leeds guys step in. Just don't bother with York Toyota, IMO.
  4. It does seem accurate in my experience. When I travel along the Selby by-pass, Tom Tom doesn't have this road in its latest version, so it just shows me traversing "space", but it accurately displays railway lines and the Selby Canal when I drive over them on the new bypass.
  5. Which would dispel the popular myth that the "governments" can track you by using your GPS device.
  6. I've never grasped the concept of inheritance tax. A father works all his life, paying taxes to buy a house, upon which he pays stamp duty. He dies and passes it on to children, who then have to pay another tax on the same property.
  7. That means it's had a lot of ill peoples' blood and sh*t through it.
  8. Sounds like a risky business.
  9. My Snooper S6 takes a lot longer now I got an iPaq GPS right next to it. Hmm
  10. Ahh, when I washed mine, the bonnet was up for hours on a warm day before I started her up.
  11. Odd that, cos when I fitted Mandy's strut brace last weekend I cleaned my engine bay with Simple Green, and gave everything a damn good hosing over, proper spray and all. No problems at all, doesn't help you though Ashley, sorry. I did have a slight bit of gunk in the air pipe (with HKS filter) once, maybe your air-temp sensor thingy is all clarted up.
  12. From memory, the sides do get hot but the top doesn't. If it's just warm, don't worry about it, if the plastic is melting then you may have a problem.
  13. Not sure that it's just one fuse for the clock. Is anything else not working? If everything else IS working, mayber the connectors dropped off the back, take the dash apart and check, but look in your manual first to see which fuse (dome) relates to the clock.
  14. There's a black rubber plug, pull it off and you can use a small screwdriver to press in the two plastic lugs on the tube below the bonnet washer. This will allow the washer to be pulled out the top of the bonnet, with the rubber hose still attached. All the above is done by "feel" alone. I can't remember if you have to remove the bonnet liner to do this.
  15. It will get hot, yes, but do you mean the bare metal or the actual carpet is getting hot?

    Zorst fitting

Trig, Bell Brothers AKA Park Road Garage in Dartford fitted my HKS for a few quid in the back pocket, no questions asked. Its up by the BP garage opposite the Leigh CTC.
  17. Didn't Paul McKenna get in to bother before when someone's regression came back. I mean, worst case, but what if Richard Hammond "forgot" how to drive again, whilst driving?
  18. The fuel strikes of two years ago, were not punters refusing to buy petrol, but delivery drivers striking. Therefore no petrol on the forecourt. Brought the country to its knees if you recall. Needs doing again IMO.
  19. Yep, that was me. Moved to Northallerton, but work in Seacroft.
  20. Sorry if I didn't chat too much, I was trying to get the runs in. Did a best time of just 15.12, so a bit disappointed that I did'nt get into the 14s, but did crack 150 mph with a whopping 150.7mph so well chuffed with that. The broken down plane was a Handley Page Victor, they could have towed the bloody thing away and THEN fixed it, ferchrissakes, there was enough tarmac going spare. Nice to meet everyone. Surprised that Monkey doesn't look like his avatar.
  21. Toyota York at Clifton Moor? Bunch of ignorant tosseurs. Unfortunately, I can't suggest another garage, but £150 to £250 is what you should be paying. NO BLOWTORCHES MIND.
  22. The first Supra I ever saw was towing a burger van.
  23. Excellent, I now have a lovely shiny helmet from that very shop for just £49, and I get my new 245 rear tyres tomorrow. Ready to rumble, to quote PJ & Duncan.
  24. Is it 10:30 start? Wheres a good motorbike shop on the east side of Leeds, I still haven't bought a helmet?

    help!!

Tis indeed the cat temp sensor. Could your cat innards have broken down and thus block the flow a bit, raising the temps, or possibly the sensor has failed. Either way, its got to be cheaper to get a de-cat pipe.
