  1. It's Kaleels car, from back in the day. Mind you, he was never too hot on the old cleaning front. I remember him waxing the windows at Billing once. I asked him what he thought he was doing, and he said it was the first time he'd ever used wax.
  2. Look under the bonnet, if there is a metal box with lots of brake pipes going in the top, on the right hand side up by the window, behind the RH strut tower, then you've got ABS. If you've got an airbag, it should say airbag on the steering wheel. You've more than likely got neither, so best be careful then.
  3. That would be considerably more cost effective then.
  4. I hope I don't sound like I'm jumping all over you, but you sound like you're still going to try and bottom things out with the ID of this car, please don't bother, just find a better one. Don't be seduced because you really want it, and you hope everything will be OK.
  5. I couldn't clearly hear her, does she claim it has three turbos? or does she say it has two, when it is clearly a big single?
  6. £100 from a dodgy scrappy in Essex, fitted it myself, not too difficult, but had to remove battery, fan and housing to be able to see what I was doing, cos I've got big hands and forearms. That's why I never really made it in the gay pr0n business. I'm not sure if the pump could be dismantled and have its seals replaced, I've got my old one in the garage, I'll have a look Anyway, here's a piccie of it in-situ
  7. Can you post a picture of it, close up?
  8. I had to replace the pump after a short dough-nut session (not the food), I've posted many times before about the problems with cranking the wheel over.
  9. The speed control will now only turn down the speed and will not turn up if I turn the knob clockwise. Plus the left hand vent buttons don't work either. All the lights still work, and everything works if the Auto setting is on, but not manually. This fault occured while just sitting in the car last Friday evening. Any ideas please?
  10. Yes, Ive got a CF GPS by Haicom, called MMF or summat. Has a bit of trouble in the centre of Leeds, what with tall buildings and underpasses, but otherwise excellent. Does make the PDA too big for top shirt pocket use though.
  11. No, there was nothing but a shrink wrapped joint of cables straight into the lighter socket contacts

    Castrol SRF

I've just bought a litre to top up my cylinder prior to this Sunday's trackday. Now at £44 I'm loath to bin it, as I don't intend changing my fluid for a few months yet. I've covered the top in clingfilm, screwed the lid on tight and then wrapped the whole bottle in clingfilm, surely that should keep it moisture tight?
  13. Is there any difference between the power from the cigarette lighter, and a straight 12v from the battery? Redline mag, (I know ) were giving away some freebie little LEDs, so I wired them to my other footwell lights, rather than use the cigarette lighter, and they blew instantly, taking the footwell neons with them. The socket that came attached to the LEDs had no fuse or circuit board, so I don't know why it all blew.

    Snooper Question ..

I only know the S6, but if the S4 has the same logic modes, then Logic Mode 3 will beep for your side and croak for opposite side.

    A couple of Qs

Is it a metallic rubbing, like the pads lightly rubbing the disk? Check if the wheel feels hot after a few miles.
  16. I've had the odd laser false alert on my S6-Neo, unless it was someone firing something out a bedroom window. I couldn't get mine to go off by shining a laser straight at it though, which is odd.
  17. You could blow the tyres up to 60psi to prevent any flat spotting. Remove the EFI fuse, then if anyone breaks in you'll hear the "cough cough" as the engine won't turn over. Plus if someone forces the keys off you at gun/knife point you can hand them over but tell them the ECU is fried, and it won't start, that's why it's off the road. Put the metal fold out chock under the inner side of the rear wheel to make it very hard to tow away. And the car cover of course.

    20 Inch alloys

    It's a compliment, obviously.

    20 Inch alloys

A lot of people have criticised your car, myself included, but that pic really shows off the colour, it's stunning. Also reminds me of Thunderbirds (the original one)
  20. I know, the cheeky barsteward challenged me again this morning, for £500?????????? does he think I was born yesterday?
  21. I may have posted before that GT Grafix took FOUR attempts to send me the correct size number plates, even though I gave them the correct dimensions right from the start, and then got stroppy on the phone with me because I was causing them so much work. When I say correct size, I mean they kept sending UK style long thin plates. Fairly poor performance from a company specializes in number plate manufacture.
  22. I'm just a sore loser, I've lost hundreds in the last few days.
  23. 8.24?????????? You were running 12's two weeks ago, stop cheating by making donations:p :p
