At last someone else who too is fed up with the BUY a TT forget the N/A line My NA has been electronically recorded at 6 secs 0 to 60 thats fast in "realtime" on the road, Thats Skyline GTS-T performance and with no Turbo.. and i get 25mpg around town and upto 36mpg on a long run If you want the extra expense and the approx 1.5 - maybe 2 second quicker dash to 60 ( in a standard TT ) buy a TT... or just buy the NA if you want the looks and reliability, NA's vastly vary in prices but a decent one is still £5k plus, personally TT's fetch to much money in most peoples opinion and that opinion comes from a close friend I have who imports from Japan and many others in the trade. Not all Supras are about the TT, Personally i could go out and buy one tomorrow but i'm more than happy with the NA, My N/A is fitted with a decent Induction kit with Air feeds and Exhaust and it flys.. NA's are in more supply and why not go the Single route ?? That way you'll have more choice of car at a lower price and with the Turbo conversion a fast car thats still cheaper than a Standard TT.

I think there is an actual dB level the police can nick you for 110dB i think, this can be done in a roadside check if you get pulled into one of those emission check things But the big Motorbikes are really loud so a Supe should cause a problem, and no doubt the tester had it on a ramp inside a garage?? Tel him he's taking crap... if no joy go to another garage Lets hope these new cameras from Aussie don't arrive here, not only will they nick you for speed but also noise ( exhaust/ stereos etc) another way of hitting the motorists pocket

Japfest 2 is all new as a follow onto to Japfest Castle Coombe held earlier in the year, I think Donny and Japfest 2 will be replacing the std Japfest at Castle coombe as I beleive they are being shutdown due to noise regs?? Jap Performance Sunday is the "ex Hickstead" show that was held just outside Brighton, (next stop down from Bolney) That was a crap show only went once about two years ago, hence a total revamp and new better venue on the M4 Corridor, Anyway it is a static very friendly chilled out meet, and there will be a few trade stands etc, Would be good to have a good show of Supras arrive on the day

Did i say i loved the Veilside??... nope If you read the thread, its just states that the Veilside is a classic and is still in demand 10 years later, So the negative comments and p taking of members with a Veilside seems a little unjustified, We all have our opinions, some don't like it , but that is what makes up all different, life would be boring otherwise.

Got no chip mate, Was thinking of the Single route, but to be honest the NA comments from TT's boys does get a little boring.. The crowd as you put it are "here" .. trying reading all the NA comments.. why try and distroy a car, Lets face it the NA was more popular and sold more, so why the comments, the TT is for the balls out performance if you want it all "nearly" 2 seconds of it to 60 I enjoy the Supra as much as everyone, just think the TTvs NA topic is a little silly, We all like Supras ... end of

I thought this was all being filmed as per previous years?? , if you remember some cars had cameras in and also there were members on bridges filming it, No footage in club videos section.

Fantastic... And its a NA!!! , so put that in your pipe and smoke it you TT boys!!! :p and all the Jokers who make fun of us NA chaps, just gos to show people like Supra in all their forms.. and everyone has a different budget Must be the Veilside kit... Now this is interesting, as so many of you continually take the "P" about us guys / ladies with Veilside kits and spoilers fitted and it being old hat.. Food for thought,, this kit and style is over 10 yrs old now, so if people are still fitting them isn't that a testiment to the Veilside style?? Will people still be de-spoilering / fitting TRD and all the countless others in another 10 years??? think not guys And the Veilside started and continues to be interpreted in countless other kits for other cars too.. So when i read comments and people being slated about having a Veilside i find that quite amusing... but really we are the ones with the individual and classic look of the Supra that took the world by storm 10 years ago with this look, and 10 years later we are still talking about... not other styles....

Just got back from Cuba a few days ago, so a little tired and burnt!! Wow what a place !!!! spent my 40th birthday out there too... Did the all inclusive route in a 5 star hotel, so we struggled in a fortnight to spend £140 !!! and there was 3 of us, If you have never been to Cuba don't beleive all that Castro rubbish you hear about, its all tosh and to be honest you could be in any other European country, Beautiful place and such lovely people .... No ... cos if you have the right 19's on the rolling diameter should be the same or to a max of 2% or your speedo will be way out, Either way if you change from standard wheels you need to have your speedo chip recalibrated

YEAH SAD REALLY all these comments about NA's The NA was so shit thats why they made more and sold more than the TT !!!! oh well least us NA guys don't have to spend a fortune just keeping them on the road Just face it guys anything around 6 secs is quick, my NA has been timed electronically at 6 secs to 60, so that is quick in the "real world" on the road, Anything under 6 is classed as super car performance, Take a scooby under 6 and quicker than a ferrari for less than 12k But you need Turbos to get under 6 secs, so a NA that does it in 6 is classed as quick, bearing in mind a Audi A6 needs TT and still only 6.7 secs thats slower than a RX8 and a NA Shame really........ the NA joke is boring as its a Supra club NOT a TT club

Speak to Perry there in future, Just mention Andy ( SilverSupra) Mate had same thing on his Saab Turbo it cut out on boost (its a safety feature to protect engine), can't remember what it was now but was a simple fix and not ££££

Careful with this subject everyone will be dummy spitting:p , been down this route with a simple yes / no thread that got very personal, Each to their own in what you like ... but a Supe with no spoiler ........ mmmm funny thing is people who buy without go yuk and pay big money to put a spoiler on ( diffferent types) and all the others want to take them off, I think Toyota design dept made the decison long ago and put Spoilers on most of them, that look is what sold the car long before we saw it over here and long after we lost it over here, The Japs love their Bodykits and Spoilers Thats what the the JDM look over there is all about,

mmm. probably have thought what the hell and gone for it, however sometimes the NA does suprise you, I've killed the bosses Audi A6 2.7TT Quattro oh and Audi TT's are easy Golf R32 and even a Porsche Boxter to 85 The NA maybe a little tad slow on the pick up but on the move you are there with best of them, I can stay with my mates Scooby on the move to .... mph well.... leave that to the imagination...........forums have ears .... I find having the A pillar pods help because most of the twats and kids don't bother, what with the 5in noisy exhaust and Gauges they all think its a TT anyway so get left alone.... ha ha

If after last week .........its not been cancelled, It really kicked off down there this month, but entertaining all the same you probably heard Maxpower and Ford nite got banned

There will be more... I think Lui could well be next in line from what has been said They will be making a few in various states of modding I beleive right up to full bling.. (like Gamers) Its aimed at 15 year olds + and people approaching driving age, giving them an insight into the car modding scene and what made the owners want that type odf car etc etc I would imagine they have contacted Skyline owners etc etc ???? as welll who knows??

Was approached, They had seen my Supe at a few of the meets and shows , and have been trying to track me down since , Found me last week at a Jap meet and all systems go, Also a delay in the model making, but they found a new maker out in Madrid The Veilside Spoiler is what attracted them to it as it looks very JDM style in what a Jap Supra should look like in their eyes, and the graphics etc etc Should be good to see it as a model 1/16 scale i think ???? , will be same size as those large cars you buy in the boxes.

I beleive officially we stopped getting them here in 96 I remember back in 96 my mate had a Celica GT4 ( He was one of the first to have in UK as they were very limited supply ) and the Celica GT4 was 38k back then and although a UK car it had sqaure plates etc, Anyway he was going to by a TT Supra and I remember us being told they were stopping selling them in the UK, That i beleive was around July 1996
